Great little spot with good pizza! Came in with a coworker for lunch and we had ordered online for pickup. We arrived on time and the food was ready for us. We decided to end up eating at the place outside. Will definitely be back, the food was great and service was stellar! Thank you for an awesome experience!

This place came to my attention from a published list of “Highest-Rated Cheap Eats in Phoenix” and had to go check it out. Had it not been on that list, I would have never found it. It’s a tiny spot tucked in a small plaza on Northern which makes it difficult to see if you weren’t looking for it. It is, as they claim, a typical neighborhood pizza joint. A handful of tables and a selection of full pizzas, slice combos, sandwiches, and other items. We ordered some slices and an Italian sub. The slices were very large with lots of sausage and pretty typical of a NY style pie. They were reheated a bit too dark and crispy, but we’re still very good. The sub was also like you would find in NY/NJ and was very good. We were there at lunch time and it was lively with a good vibe. No table service and nothing too fancy. The staff was busy and very pleasant. We may stop back in to order a fresh whole pizza. Pretty sure it will be excellent. Perfect lunch spot if you’re in the hood. And yes, cheap too!

Came in for lunch, the sub was good and the cookies were huge and great. Waited about 10 minutes for the order. There is dine in and carry out, and I didn’t see a restroom.

I love stumpy’s! The pizza is great and I enjoy their wings as well. However, the weekend hours are NOT great. They close Saturday at 4pm and they’re not open on Sundays. I hope they can get additional staff to have better hours. I can’t count the number of times I’ve wanted to order their pizza on a Saturday night to only realize it was too late (I’m talking like 7pm ). Stumpy’s please update your weekend hours!

I ordered for pickup and the meal was ready during the time frame specified online. The pizza was great with the right amount of sauce to cheese ratio. We also order hot wings and they packed a punch. The wings were cooked to perfection and delicious. I will definitely be coming here again.

Stumpy’s is .5 mile from Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak , we ordered 2 Pizzas, Hot wings, and basic salad. To say we were impressed is an understatement. The food is top quality and delicious. The staff was polite and friendly. We will be back, and tell everyone what an the outstanding place Stumpy’s is.
