The food is good. Our waiter was nice, however overall service is lacking. My dish was served to another table so my family was well past done before I received my dish and there was not a discount for the extreme delay.

The service was impeccable and the food was superb. I came here with some work friends and we were happy we stopped here. I had the blackened shrimp and grits and it was done to perfection. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. I took a piece of the pecan pie home for dessert and it was a masterpiece in a box. If you are downtown Raleigh, you should absolutely stop by.

service and food was hit or miss. we were staying at the marriott and had both dinner and breakfast here. dinner food was fine, mcrib was a little dry. mac n cheese was good. brussel sprouts were lacking. half rack ribs were fine, sauce was good. the shrimp/crab hush puppies were delicious. service was great that night. coming back the next morning for breakfast was not good. we were sat at 9:20 and no one came to us until 9:55 to ask if we wanted water or coffee- and this was only after trying to get someone’s attention for about 20 minutes as other sections were getting served. almost 40 minutes without even water on the table is nuts. breakfast food itself was good though.

We visited the Rye Bar and Southern Kitchen while on business travel. We stayed in the Marriott, which contains the restaurant. We actually ate there twice. They have a Mc Ryb which is their take on the Mc Rib. Needless to say it was really good. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere! Highly recommended!!

A great meal and wonderful service in a very modern, but comfy spot located inside the Marriott Raleigh City Center. Great prices and food was phenomenal! Highly suggest getting the cheesecake of you get the chance! Easily the best one I’ve ever had.

I was here for one night on business travel and cannot remember the name of the bartender with the short hair and goatee but his personality and professionalism was outstanding. Highly recommend not only for the outstanding service that everyone else also gave, but it’s just a fun place.

Came to Raleigh for the SAFRE Conference. Ate at The Rye. Our server Scott was awesome. The server Rick that helped him was great as well. The manager Susan, was as good as they get. Tremendous service and the Salmon was amazing. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend The Rye and ask for any of the three, Susan. Scott or Rick. You will be pleased.

Very meh. Over and hour and a half for food that was cold. I guess it was ok as a club sandwich. Waiter came by to ask us what we would like to order but we didn’t have menus for the last 15 minutes. 20 minutes later they came back and we got a refill of hot water. Really great on a summer day. So hot water. And cold food. Bummer.
