Hate leaving a bad review. One reason being I have a restaurant background. But this pizza I got wasn’t good at all. Mainly because the crust wasn’t completely cooked done.This is the first time in a while I’ve gotten a bad pizza. N it would be the first time I would try something different n get the white sauce instead of the pizza sauce. Im going to have to cook it longer when I go to reheat it.

Pretty good place for a quick pizza. We stopped by this time particularly for the Brittany’s Big Dill pizza, and it wasn’t bad. Underwhelming. Tasted like a chicken bacon ranch pizza with a few pickle slices on top, which was still good, still ate the whole thing. I’m just a little disappointed that the Big Dill wasn’t more covered in Dill. Side note: Dear Mad Mushroom, please change your “call waiting” music to anything other than one, repeated, 20 second, advertisement. Being on hold for 5 minutes, hearing the ad for Brittneys Big Dill repeated every 20 seconds made us almost choose another pizza restaurant.

We ate a lot of Mad Mushroom pizza and cheesestix when we were students at Purdue University in the 1990’s. We moved away from West Lafayette and haven’t had Mad Mushroom in 20+ years. When we were in Lexington for a medical procedure at UK Hospital, we made a point to get Mad Mushroom during our time in Lexington. Still the *best* cheesestix ever!

I loved my bbq chicken pizza ! I had ordered by phone a couple of pizzas and different types of bread for me and my boyfriend to try tonight. I picked it up and it smelled amazing. I was instantly wanting to eat it haha but I waited till I got home. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. This pizza and bread are very good quality. Definitely worth the money and it’s not much different than any other typical pizza like dominos flat crusted pizzas. This pizza was fluffy. Definitely recommend. Plus very good customer service. The guy on the phone I had talked to was super nice and had a good tone even though it was 11 o’clock at night. Also when I picked it up all I got were smiles from the employees. Very good environment. Thank you !!!

My youngest son and I both have the flu and he hasn’t felt like eating much for the last three days. Today (12/3/22) he decided that he would like pizza for dinner so I called the Clays Mill Mad Mushroom location and asked if they would be willing to do curbside instead of carry out so that we didn’t risk infecting others. The female manager (I didn’t catch her name) and staff were incredibly helpful and kind and happily obliged. We are just very grateful to get out of the house, even just for a drive to pick up pizza. Thank you so much to the Clays Mill team and merry Christmas! Kindness goes a LONG way!
