Nom, nom! This pizza is soooo cheesy. I lived in Lexington 40 years ago and loved Frank’s Pizza then. I was blown away to find, not only is it still there, but Tony still owns it. We ordered 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 supreme. Fresh or reheated, this is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.

Stopped here during a long road trip. Absolutely fantastic food. We had pizza and steak subs. People here were amazing, bright, kind, cheerful and pleasant. A wonderful change from the chain store fast food in the area. SUPERB.

Stayed with family in Lexington for a few weeks. Frank’s pizza made for a delicious family gathering. The white pizza was top tier quality. Service was polite and fast. The restaurant itself was nothing special and left a lot to be desired in terms of cultivating a modern attractive environment.

The best gluten free pizza we have ever had!! My husband and I were in town for a wedding a needed a quick take out lunch on the way to the wedding venue. It was hot and fresh and the salad was also delicious. We are going to make a trip back to Lexington just for the gluten free pizza at Frank’s!

Transiting I-81S today. Stopped in Lexington for corporate fast food. Burger joint closed. Frank’s shares their parking lot. Saw “open” and busy. Said to spouse, “let’s try”. Talk about trade up! Local jewel of comfort Italian food. Fast, helpful, friendly, counter and wait staff. Crazy reasonable prices on mouth watering dishes. We ordered a hot meatball sub and a pepperoni-mushroom calzone. Meatball sub, perfectly toasted flaky roll filled with meat and gooey cheese goodness. Obviously homemade meatballs and marinara dipping sauce. Calzone off the hook, homemade dough, stuffed, and served with more tasty marinara sauce. Only complaint? Every dish at Frank’s should come with a warning: HUGE portions, we ain’t here to help your diet! Definitely visit again on another road trip.

I love Frank’s. The sauce is the same for all of them, so good. I was passing through and stopped for a very late lunch of the classic, comforting beer and pizza! Unsure where to go to in Lexington, Frank’s is always a sure bet. The staff at this one were very helpful and personable. If it isn’t a Whole Foods (it’s a favorite), I am so glad for a great local place!
