We visited Cafe Med for the first time about 3pm this afternoon. The food was WONDERFUL!! The service was great. We shared a deluxe gyro and a big Greek salad. SO good! We highly recommend Cafe Med. Parking is right outside the restaurant. FYI – all the tables have wooden chairs. We both have arthritis and did ok, but if you have sciatica it may be uncomfortable. But the food was SO wonderful it’s worth it. You can also order take out.

This is a nice, unassuming place with some of the best Mediterranean food in Memphis. The service was fast and exceptionally friendly. I had the Jerusalem Gyro, my wife had the King’s Hummus. Both were delicious! The baklava is fantastic, too! Highly recommended.

I’ve lived in this area for 20 years and Cafe Med has been right on Kirby for quite a bit of that time. I also have neighbors who used to frequent it, but when they’d ask if I wanted to join, I’d decline. For reasons that escape me, I’d never gone in until a few years ago, with my son. We had a tasted for falafel and didn’t want to go across town, so decided to give it a try. I could NOT believe that I’d been so remiss in all these years! It’s a quaint, clean restaurant with very kind and generous staff. I simply could not believe we’d been missing out all these years!!! The food is delish! It’s fresh and just delicious! And did I mention clean? That goes a very long way with me. Just perfect. I’m so glad you’re in my neighborhood! It’s not often that I give a restaurant this type of rating. 🙂

Great service and wonderful food! The food never disappoints. The staff is friendly always helpful. The iced tea is outstanding. We had the eggplant dip with pita and tabbouli for appetizers. I had the yanni gyro and my friend had the original pita. We both enjoyed our meals immensely.

Fantastic! High quality food. Nice portions! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place before I moved away. Everyone should come here because it’s totally worth it.
