This is a seasonal restaurant open when crawfish are available. Alcohol is not served, but customers are welcome to bring their own and a local liquor store will deliver to this restaurant for $10. Plastic cups are available for those bringing their own alcohol. Outside soft drinks and food are not permitted. Air conditioned indoor seating and shaded outdoor seating are available. Outside seating can be quite dusty, as gravel parking areas surround the restaurant.

The crawfish were very very good. Spicy but not just hot. The price (6.99/lb) was a super awesome value for such good crawfish. Boudin balls were tasty and not over fried. Wish we had brought beer, but we’ll be back

Crawfish were great, boiled shrimp easy peel, French fries, boiled potatoes, corn on the cob although corn was not that great it’s those frozen in a bag so they were a bit mooshy, service was good, it’s a BYOB they sell soft drinks there. One suggestion limes and maybe some spicy seasoning on shrimp like the crawfish that would have made shrimp great not just good.

the staff was very friendly and most of the food was good but the crawfish(their namesake) was old and the shells were soft and rubbery and the tales were just crumbling. I’ve had a lot of crawfish and seafood over the years to know when we’ve been given old or reused food that was not sold immediately or not made fresh and I had high hopes to support a local business. Me, my kid and some of the other people in the party got sick within 20 minutes of leaving there. I’m disappointed because it was our first time there and we heard good and bad reviews. Sadly we will not be back especially for the amount of money we dropped(collectively spent close to 225 for 4 single moms and 4 kids) so that’s a lot for us.

We’ve been to three or four crawfish places around South Texas and this is the best! The waitress took her time and explained preparation and some of the cultural aspects of crawdads, Texas style while my wife and I made a mess with 5 lb of extra large crawdads .

Great staff. Excellent food. I know that people mostly come here for the crawfish that are outstanding. A little secret the shrimp is too. I wish I could give 6 stars now that they have sweet tea.

So this was my first time and was promptly greeted by the friendly staff, they took my order for take out and I waited. So I waited by the front door and there was the first problem, there was no bench, chairs or anything for people to wait on their food, I didn’t mind so much but I imagine the elderly would appreciate that if they wanted takeout. Once I got my food I had to ask for togo plastic ware which they did not provide at first. Got home and they forgot my son’s marinara sauce for his cheese sticks. The food overall was pretty average and that’s what my score is really based on. The hush puppies were easily the stand out. The catfish was pretty mid, the gumbo didn’t really stand out, it needed a little more spice and just flavor overall. So not the worst or the best, somewhere in the middle. I’ll update when I actually try the crawfish.
