First time visiting a Golden Chick. Sort of expected the usual fast food experience but was pleasantly surprised from the moment we stepped out of the car. The building was neat, clean, windows clean, interior was immaculate. Didn’t have to inspect tables to see which was cleanest; they all were. Friendly and charismatic order taker, even more upbeat guy handed off my order at the counter with a smile and enthusiastically thanked us for dining as we were leaving. Food was much better than I expected; roasted chicken was very tender and juicy, especially for a large breast. Roll was fresh and warm, corn nuggets great. This may seem like a minor thing to some, but the drink mix was perfect on the soda. There are a number of restaurants we don’t go to anymore just because the mix is always weak or they went to that Stubborn brand, which is not exciting. A substandard soda experience is enough to spoil a meal; thanks for doing it right! All of these elements don’t happen by accident. Someone is doing things right at this store. Don’t change a single thing.

I came here yesterday for dinner before work and the food was horrible. My 3 chicken tenders were full of grease that I couldn’t even eat them and they didn’t really seem done. The okra was hard and tasted burnt. So I ended up throwing everything away. The only reason I’m giving a 1 star is because the customer service was good but the food was not.

Sharvon, the manager at this location, is the best. I had an issue with my food, and she made it right. Plus, she always wore a smile on her face and was very friendly. Also, her employee Des is a sweetheart the customer service is impeccable, and food is always good!! I highly recommend this location!

Take one filet of fish and cut into thirds and there’s your 3 piece. Smh. Then one isn’t edible because it’s basically a long piece of fried skin or something with very little fish inside. no condiments after I ordered zing sauce. This is not the first time but I guess that’s my fault for being too lazy to cook. If I could get one good catfish filet for the same price I’d be happy. Gotta stick to homemade or an actual seafood place
