Great tasting Mexican food in downtown Wachula. We had Birria tacos and traditional Mexican tacos, and both were excellent. The homemade guacamole was very tasty, too. It was a very nice lunch

A quaint little place in the downtown area perfect for an affordable, filling dinner! The plates average at around $11, but desserts and individual items are much cheaper. The staff here are extremely friendly, and made us feel welcome and at home the moment we walked through the door!

I was working in town and ended up eating at Bertha’s twice this week. The first time was just so good. The first time I had sopas and a gordita. The second time I had the fajita trio. The meal starts off with the most fantastic homemade salsa, nice and heavy on the cilantro. The meals are plentiful. On the sopas and gordita I had the pastor, the chicken, and the barbacoa. Both meals were top-notch start to finish. Servers are pleasant and very attentive. Next time I’m going through the area I’ll certainly be stopping in again.

I did not like. First, few drinks available (they do not have just club solda or any sparkling water); My husband dish, a quesadilla came with cold beans, obviuly he did not eat them; my gorditas was just ok. The woman at reception was who handle dishes to the table. We wait a lot for she come to offer drinks at the beggining. Wait a lot for dinner also. Place is just not attractive.

We stopped and had dinner on our way to Orlando. The tacos were good! However, it did take them a while to make our food. The guacamole was a little odd, it was more like pico de gallo. They did also charge us $2.00 for water, which was unexpected. Also, my son asked for no cheese on his burrito and it came out smothered in it anyway.
