One of the few restaurants left that my fiancé and I enjoy going to in the Jackson area. We both come from the food service industry (he’s a chef and I’ve served) so going out to eat where we can get great food and amazing service these days, is “challenging” to put it nicely. Klavon’s never disappoints. Their staff is TRAINED, knowledgeable, and friendly. Restaurant is clean and food/drinks arrive with quality and consistency. The staff stays busy and doesn’t look like they hate their life. When we last visited, Hannah was our server and was wonderful. (My apologies for not shouting out to all of the other awesome staff we’ve interacted with previously!) Don’t waste your time going downtown for food; THIS is the place for great food and great service.

This place was amazing! Despite it being a very busy Saturday night we didn’t wait more than 20 minutes. And our server was super friendly and attentive. We got the fried onion for the appetizer and it was fantastic! Our dinner was a large Detroit style pizza with pepperoni mushrooms and onion. Wow. Of course we had leftovers bc this pizza is very rich and very loaded with cheese. We decided that this would be totally worth an hour plus road trip to come back! Next we’d like to try the Chicago style pizza. So impressed with this place!

This place is great. We drove from Northern Indiana to eat here on recommendations from a coworker. It was worth the drive! We had the Chicago Style Pizza. The pizza sauce was good as well as the crust. The meats were good. The place was modern and really nice. They had TVs in the booths where you could change channels and change the volume. This was a great thing has we had little kids to entertain. The staff was great and seemed happy to work there. Hannah was our server and hit it out of the park. She helped us with the menu as this was our first time there. The parking lot was packed when we got there and we were sure this would be a long wait. It was around 10min and I got a text that our table was ready. This place I highly recommend!

The place is definitely cool. Looks cool. But with a 2 hour wait I was surprised the food was super average. Pizza didn’t taste any different then other places I’ve been and was more expensive ♀️
