We were in the area looking for a late night dinner and came across SoPies. Very small pizza shop, mom and pop style. We ordered garlic knots and bbq chicken pizza. Note they had some local draft beer and bottles/ cans. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The place was clean and the staff was cleaning tables as soon as someone left their table. The dough is delicious and the bottom was crispy. Best pizza we have had in a very long time. We will be making this a regular dinner spot. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

Wrong pizza was made. I ordered a stuffed veggie but got a regular veggie. The pizza also came out burnt. Also for 2 14″ pizzas one being just plain cheese $44 dollars is crazy. Ill never come back here again. Probably will not taste good based off the look. Good luck to anybody going there. Also i want to mention I was only offered to have my pie remade instead of a refund.

Lovely Sunday dining experience. The Strombolis and Calzones are huge! The fried ravioli appetizer was delicious. Great service and friendly hardworking staff! Great food. A little pricey but when you see the portions it will make sense and be worth it! Definitely planning to come back.

We’ve been going to SoPies since we moved here 3 years ago. Only recently discovered the Nonna’s pizza, it’s definitely our favourite one. Every time we place an order the staff are always polite, and knowing the pizzas are fresh and always made in front of you makes this place a real gem. Well done SoPies

I’ve been here one other time when I met a couple of people for lunch. Then yesterday, I decided to call-in a large pizza for my family. After looking online at the menu, we went landed on the Deluxe Pizza. There were no prices listed online and I wasn’t told how much it was until I picked up my order. I was caught off guard that one large pizza was $36!!! Sure it was good pizza, but it was not worth that cost.

Service might as well be non existent with a non welcoming atmosphere. Not only can the employees not walk 5 steps to server you a single slice of mediocre pizza, but they prefer to scream your name in a very aggressive manner and leave it for you at the bar top. Left me agitated and ruined my experience, and somehow took away my appetite.

Busy & crowded at peak times just like NY, my Sicilian grandfather (Bless his soul) who grew up in Brooklyn said it was the most authentic you could find, with very good pizzas, and you always feel seen and appreciated no matter how you dine, inside, outside, or to go!

Been once. This week. Pricey. Beautiful weather. Sat outside. Love the old bldg downtown. I’m a native NC woman. Best crust I have EVER had on a pizza in my life! I’ve tried many! I could use that crust for sandwiches, as toast for breakfast, just to spread cream cheese or whatever on and just plain! Yummy!
