I went there for lunch while in town. The service and meal were excellent. I ordered a combo with half a corned beef sandwich on toasted sourdough and a cup of chicken noodle soup with a side of potato salad. I saw knish on the menu and ordered one to go along with a chocolate and a raspberry rugelach. Before leaving, I even purchased a Matzo Baller shirt because it was such a nice experience. See photos below.

Nestled in the heart of Denver, Zaidy’s Deli & Bakery is a hidden gem that takes you back in time to the golden era of deli classics. As soon as you step through the doors, the aroma of freshly baked bread and simmering soups welcomes you with open arms.

Ordered lunch from here for the first time after a recent recommendation. I’ve been in the Glendale area for 3 years, and I feel like I’ve been missing out! Everything was packed well, nothing was missing, and they even gave me an extra crescent cookie (which was fire, by the way)! The matzo ball soup did indeed taste “famous.” I guess I’ll have to try the Reuben they rave about next.

First time here. What a beautiful day to have breakfast on the patio celebrating my parents anniversary. Had their tasty breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage and a side of potatoes. Local spot with a courteous staff and a nice selection at their bakery. I’m sure we will be repeat customers.

Just finished an amazing brunch at Zaidy’s deli. I’m so glad to see that they’ve reopened a Denver classic, with updated fantastic food. I had the matzoh ball soup, avo toast with smoked salmon, blintzes, and a Bloody Maria. Great food and great service. I can’t wait to return!

Ordered a Reuben, matzo ball soup and a Diet Coke from the counter. $40 lunch for one, I had hoped the bag they handed me my food in would have weighed a little more. Reuben was sloppy and the meat was not thin enough. Taste is great, but the thick slices and the under griddled rye bread which was a soggy mess.

This place has the best salmon I have ever had. Wonderful texture and flavor, salty, bring, fishy, ethereal. We also got a combo corned beef and pastrami sandwich which was also good. Generally speaking, the food is light on the salt and pepper side. This is not something I am used to but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

2 of us arrived at approx noon on Wednesday 26 July. Server was quick and efficient. I had the half sandwich and salad. Sandwich was pastrami, and tasted like slimy, fatty, undercooked bacon. Light rye was hard as though it had been left out. The salad was very pretty, and fresh.

I’ve been looking for a Jewish deli for awhile for latkes. These weren’t quite as crunchy as I prefer but everything was delicious. I will definitely return. The wait staff was attentive and the restaurant was clean and modern.
