Great variety of food! Our family had the fried pickles, shrimp tempura roll, and smoked and fried chicken. We also ordered the blackberry smash cocktails. All were delicious and we really enjoyed the outdoor covered balcony. Beautiful view! This is also a great place for kids. This restaurant even has the “extra tall” high chairs for the high top tables. A special shout-out to the hostess who squeezed us in without a dinner reservation. Highly recommend making a reservation if you want to avoid a long wait.

Yummy loaded fries appetizer, and my wife enjoyed the shrimp and corn chowder (with biscuit). Steak frites, smoked and fried chicken, and scallops and smoked pork belly entrees were good. Enjoyed the eclectic music and view of Shem Creek. Service was friendly and good, though a tad slow. Will done here again.

Saturday had a reservation for 10:15 and got seated early. Excellent Mimosa’s Peach, Raspberry and Blackberry. Get the Cinnamon Bun is Awesome. Breakfast was great eggs, grits, waffles. The interior of the restaurant is very rustic. Owners are Redsox Fans!

Food and service was amazing !!! Oysters and cocktails were absolutely delicious. Manager Tyler was extremely welcoming and kind, checked on the table multiple times. My server Abby was very knowledgeable about the menu , very attentive and sweet. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Charleston. Oh and the view makes you not want to leave!

Great fast service and yummy food. We planned to go to Crab House but got sucked in by the wonderful smells coming from this restaurant. Shrimp and grits were good and the po boy was a hit. The fries and the sides were really good. Overall a great experience.

This place is such a hit or miss spot for me, but truly one of my little off the beaten path gems. My only reason for anything but 5 stars is the interaction I’ve had each time with a long dark haired lady whom I believe is a manager or something. Otherwise this place is 5 stars when it comes to the servers, bartenders, and food! Both the rooftop and main bar are great little hideaways. This last time we stopped in for brunch after church and our food was amazing. There was no true hostest and it seemed like they were a bit confused or unsure of how to seat people but we still got sat fairly quickly. They had the main bar closed off for some reason although there were a few people sitting there and the bartender seemed to be fine so not sure what was going on there. Again though when it came to our waitress and the quality of our food and drinks it was great! The Bloody Mary was thick, tasty and not watered down like at most places. Blueberry waffle was perfectly crisp and as a NOLA native the shrimp po boy did not disappoint! It’s definitely a place worth stopping in to get some good food and avoid or take a break from the Shem Creek canal craziness while still enjoying the beauty of the marsh. Not to mention they also have a sushi menu for dinner which is always exceptional! Will definitely continue going back to this one!
