This is a diamond in the rough. I had to meet a colleague halfway between Philadelphia and Ithaca…so I picked Scranton. Based upon reviews, we decided on Pronto. Don’t let it’s simple exterior fool you. This is a very good restaurant. Service is attentive. Atmosphere is casual but nice (tablecloths). And the food is delicious. I had the Pollo Pronto. I didn’t need teeth to eat it, so tender. With wonderful lemony flavor.

Saw this restaurant on open table and we were impressed ! We had the pasta with sausage and broccoli and the pasta with sausage and red sauce. Both dishes were amazing. Service was impeccable. Will definitely be back.

I usually don’t like to write negative reviews. The restaurant was nice enough and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was not good. My son had penne vodka and I had rigatoni Bolognese . Both sauces tasted like they came out of a jar.

Great Italian restaurant with very nice staff and cozy dining area. Extensive wine list and the house Chardonnay was tasty as well as the table bread and olive oil. I ordered the Cesar salad and opted for the anchovies. The dressing was perfect, the Parmesan was Fresh and plentiful and the anchovies were excellent. I also had the clams in Parmesan white wine sauce and it was the best I’ve ever had. I ended with a canoli which was a good size with generous filling. I prefer the old time filling with the candied fruit added but you just don’t find them anymore and this one was nice.
