LouVino opened its first Restaurant & Wine Bar in Louisville in 2014, simply aspiring to be a place you could enjoy a nice glass of wine with amazing food in a hip yet relaxed atmosphere without a pretentious feel. Since then, we have taken our southern inspired cuisine to five locations across Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Locally owned by Endeavor Restaurant Group, LouVino features an inspired menu created by renowned Chef Tavis Rockwell and an extensive wine list curated by Sommelier Gracie Peter. We have an award-winning wine list with more than 40 approachable, yet refined options by the glass, and each restaurant features an evolving seasonal menu, specially curated by each Executive Chef to provide a unique culinary experience.

We came for brunch and the food was very good. The Kentucky Coffee is a must have if you love strong bourbon. The fried green tomatoes were juicy and flavourful. We enjoyed ourselves and will be telling others to come and dine here.

The atmosphere here was wonderful. I really liked the use of wine boxes as a wall covering. The service was excellent. The wine list was extensive, and the flight of the month was great. The food was very good, but just doesn’t seem to worth the price.

Louvino’s was a pleasant surprise and a great little gem in the heart of OTR Cincinnati. The steak and Frites and the Filet Diane Tournedos were wonderful. We finished it off with the beignets with a bourbon chocolate sauce. Delicious. Kudos to the bartender for making the best old-fashioned I’ve ever had!

We went on Valentine’s day. The service was slow, and our waiter not very prompt, and didn’t check/ask us if the food was OK or we need more water etc. The food was not very impressive. There are many other restaurants around that are much better food, and service!!

Date night was lovely! Loved artichoke arancini, caramelized onion goat cheese dip, my filet Diane tournedos with mushroom brandy sauce and fingerling potatoes, the hot mac and cheese and mushroom risotto that he had were very good. I had the a George Clooney cabrenet flight. Loved the chocolate chip beignets with bourbon chocolate ganache and cheesecake.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary here. Our waitress was the sweetest, she almost gave me diabetes ;). The manager welcomed us with a complimentary champagne toast. My hubby ordered the Cuban and it was the best Cuban I’ve EVER HAD. I had a garlic herb boursin salad and it was so flavorful. We will back! Thank you for an amazing 17 year Anniversary dinner.
