The Monte Cristo sandwich was delicious, rich and delightful. The Philly steak is made with a French bread and they finish baking it when you place your order. The bread has this wonderful freshly baked out of the oven flavor and a nice crunchy crust which holds up well. I highly recommend you go out of your way and treat yourself self to The District Deli.

Place had great food but I’m not one for writing reviews so I just never did. That being said I came in one afternoon and it took awhile to make the sandwiches. Has no problem at all with it but one worker threw in some free desert and everyone at home loved it. Great customer service and will definitely go back!

Absolutely fantastic. I ordered and less than 3 minutes later, my food was out. I ordered the shrimp po boy with steak fries. The fries were PIPING hot and the po boy was amazing. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, the breading was light and it’s one of those places that gives you more shrimp than breading which is always a plus. My buddies got the cheddar bacon fries and the roast beef fries. The cheddar bacon fries had REAL strips of bacon, not the cheap pre cooked bacon bits. The roast beef was some of the best I’ve ever had (no cap, as the young kids say). I would recommend this place to everyone.
