Wonderful little restaurant and a nice home vibe there. I ordered the mushroom burger and French fries with ice tea. The burger was so delicious and flavorful and the fries were good. The waitress brought a piece of cake after the meal. Everything was so delicious m!! And they have purple onions!!! A plus in my book.

My uncle Jack brought me here yesterday for the first time after getting out of the hospital. I really wanted some biscuits and gravy. Upon arriving, I found myself ordering a chicken fried steak, home potatoes and fried eggs. Everything was above and beyond my expectations. It’s a little mom and pop hole in the wall restaurant but my God is a good for breakfast and lunch. Thank you Uncle Jack and to all employees and Ol West Cafe.

My son had strawberries pancakes he loved it! My husband had a Ortega chile omelette with cowboy potatoes and I may say it was the best my tri tip breakfast was the absolute best I had in oildale especially the biscuits with sausage gravy was so delicious I tried so hard to finish everything! we will definitely be going back there soon!
