Love this place, al pastor tacos are the best in Castle Rock and Franktown. We get there breakfast burritos weekly and they are better, bigger and cheaper than the place across the way and that food truck. Staff have always been friendly and social with us and all my friends have had a great experience there.

Went with our friends to El Cerrito for the first time for dinner. All of us enjoyed our tasty house margaritas and dinners. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito, smothered with green chili, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream. Also, the chicken mole and chicken enchiladas with fried eggs were delicious! We loved the bright festive decor and attentive waitstaff. We met the hardworking owners, Alejandra, Jaime, and their daughter Carmen. We will definitely be back!

Classic Mexican restaurant . Currently under renovation (aug2022). Sodas and Mexican classic drinks like horchata are humongous, the margarita size was generous and seemed well balanced. I wouldn’t go for #7 with two rellenos, those are little fried wraps with lots of squeaky cheese and a thin slice of green pepper (a stuffed poblano pepper was what i had in mind, but i guess it’s my fault). The beans were white and runny like a soup. The flan was coarse and a but tasteless but the fried oreos quite fluffy and soft and interesting (instead of whipped cream, they would be better served w vanilla bean ice cream in my opinion).

I don’t normally leave reviews unless I feel that something needs to be said. I really wanted to like this place, but I found the food to be mediocre at best. My husband and I shared two plates; chicken/steak/shrimp fajitas and el pastor tacos. I thought everything was very salty and rubbery. We also got some margaritas which lacked tequila. The place was empty when we got there but then started to pick up. There was no music playing and the wait staff didn’t seem very friendly. I’m surprised to see nothing but amazing reviews on here, so I wanted to come here to share my experience since it was unlike others..
