A small little hole in the wall that’s a gem! My children and I went there to have lunch, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their eggrolls are great and they’re the fried rice is amazing. Beef with vegetables really good. My kids loved the wonton soup. They give you a full bottle of soda when you order drinks.

I ordered through Door dash and my food came quickly. Maybe because they were closing at 2:30. I’m not complaining! I ordered The Beef with Garlic Sauce. I added the Fried Rice, Won Ton Soup, and an Eggroll. The Eggroll was so tasty and hot. I wish I had added another. The Won Ton soup was really good. It came with 3 small Wontons. The broth was very light and tasty. The Fried Rice was a little different for me. It was filled with lots of green onions, which I dislike. I just picked them out though. Next time I will see if I can get the Fried Rice without Green Onions. The Beef with Garlic Sauce was pretty tasty too. I just wish it was spicy. That was one of the reasons that I got it. In the special instructions, I put, no water Chestnuts and they actually listened. But boyyy, they put a lot of celery in it. I will tell them light on the celery next time. I look forward to trying more items here. I’m totally satisfied!

Ordered food for delivery via grubhub and it arrived quickly and hot early Thursday evening. Unfortunately, two of the three dishes weren’t to our satisfaction. The szechuan chicken was just OK. The beef and broccoli had beef that was overly tenderized and loaded with garlic flavor. The pork lo mein noodles had little taste and the pork also felt overly tenderized.

Jenny (not sure how she spells it) shouldn’t be allowed to interact with customers. I was paying my bill with my card and was going to leave a cash tip as every human can choose to do and she was harassing me about the service asking over and over again if it was good and if the food was good. Hinting that there should be a tip written on the ticket. Mind you, she wasn’t even my waitress. So instead of answering her questions, I asked for the managers name and if she could please leave me alone. She claimed to not know the name and when I asked someone else for my waitress to come back to the table, she started to approach me again asking if I was trying to get the manager and I had to again ask her to please leave me alone. So if you come here, just make sure you ask that a Jenny not come anywhere near you.

Be careful !!!!! Literally after eating half my food I found a maggot in my food ! My family and I have eaten at china cottage a few times! Maggot in the food is UNACCEPTABLE & DISGUSTING . I am so disappointed I didn’t even get a refund just really sickening by the maggot ! NEVER EVER EATING HERE AGAIN! China cottage get it together my kids literally ate some of this.
