This churches was great! The food was fresh and the customer service was also great! The restaurant was clean the bathroom was clean and didn’t stink! The cooks had on gloves and the kitchen was clean. Who ever is running this churches need to come up to churchs in Charlotte NC on Wilkinson Boulevard and teach the Nasty management how to run a successful store like this one in Jacksonville Florida. This restaurant reminded me of how great church’s chicken can be if the food is fresh and store is clean. If Church’s Chicken owners are reading this PLEASE COME TO CHARLOTTE NC ON WILKINSON BLV AND CHECK OUT HOW NASTY AND FILTHY THIS STORE IS! The special roasted Texas chicken had feathers and was deformed. Obviously CAFO distributor as the manager said “ all the chicken has feathers” we don’t remove the feathers. Is there a cleaning and prep process or do they just cook dirty unhealthy chicken. Never encountered this at KFC or Popeyes…

Great experience for a walk in customer… i had a big order … the cashier was helpful and kind… i was takin my order to the hospital to feed my family … we all recieved bad news a week ago so things been hectic… something as little as a smile and a kind spirit went a long way for me today … it moved me to write a review.. so thank you to the woman with the colorful dreads or braids!!

Updated review 11/17/19: This staff has completely changed. A group of young girls working with attitude. Body language speaks voulme. All I want is some food. Eyerolls and side eyes are unnecessary. No real greeting. Guess its a grumpy Sunday no one is smiling any where. At least my food is hot.

This location on Dunn Ave is infinitely better than the one on 21st, quite possibly because it’s a newer location and the poor employees on 21st are in a bad building (I don’t know if they ever got their AC fixed but it’s like being a biscuit in the oven when you walk thru the door, and you have to go in because the intercom at the drive thru doesn’t work and takes 15 minutes per car to get thru it). Dunn Ave has happier employees and better tasting food, hell, I almost died the biscuit was so good! Bourbon black pepper chicken is lit, try it while you still can! Ps, I haven’t been to 21st in about a year, I hope y’all manager or owner fixed that ac by now, I feel for y’all.
