I had the $12 platter, which included chicken wings, fries, and a drink. I was very surprised and pleased it included 5 wings not 3. The medium spice level was nice and the fries good (though the portions small). The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond. Will be back for sure 🙂

I ordered chicken tenders from this restaurant for pickup. When we got home, my wife noticed a short, thin metal wire inside the chicken. It was embedded in the meat and could have easily caused serious injury if we had eaten it. We were shocked and disgusted by this discovery. We will never order from this place again and we advise others to avoid it as well. This is a serious health and safety violation that should not be tolerated.

I ordered chicken wings in hot and lamb chops in medium. Both were very delicious and juicy. The hot spice level hits just right. I don’t think I will go for extra hot or medium. The fries were crispy and had this very nice lemony flavor to it. I am taking away one star because of the table size for four. It’s very small and gets too crowded with plates , sauces, cutlery stand and all if a family orders food.

I had the pleasure of trying the food from this place at my sister’s house, and I couldn’t resist looking it up to share my review. The food was genuinely delicious, especially the peri peri chicken. Unlike other places where it’s overly salted, making it almost inedible, Tribos got it just right with the perfect amount of salt. I didn’t feel like I was about to balloon up with skyrocketing blood pressure. Among all the items I tried, the chicken and hummus with pita were my absolute favorites. The chicken was incredibly juicy, and the hummus tasted really fresh. It’s super hard to find great fresh food this good at this price range these days.

I have went there several times this semester and I was really impressed by their service but today I am really disappointed. I ordered a 6 pieces chicken tender combo where I received more than two burnt tenders and they smelled really bad. I didn’t expect this from them. What I didn’t understand is if the chef knew that the food is burnt and smell bad that can’t be eaten why would they serve it to the customer. I added a photo in this review hope it will help the management to see their mistake.

great food but there will always be a wait if you’re ordering in store to go or dine in – if you’re doing to go make sure you order ahead (even if the store is empty). also they’re stingy with the chicken and rice here compared to the metuchen location, they only give 2 pieces of chicken tenderloin instead of 3. also they’re incredibly stingy w/ the tiny white sauce cups if you’re doing to-go, it’s pretty disappointing.

The food at Tribos Peri Peri Chicken was pretty good however the restaurant was very dirty inside. The tables were all sticky, there was dirt all over. I will not be going back there anytime soon. Also portions were small for the price.
