I used to love this place but our experience tonight was very sub par. Ordered 3 entrees, 2 of them were incorrect. The bottle of ketchup on table was empty. Waitress was no where to be found so I had to ask another waiter if he could go get our waitress.

Food was good, our server was great. Drink service I give a 0. We ordered our regular drinks and cocktails and appetizers at the same time. The regular drinks came out followed by the appetizer. My cocktail never came. The server was really nice about it and kept telling me it was coming. When our food came, she was surprised that I still had not got my drink. She got her manager involved and she came to our table. She told me she would personally bring it to our table. Another 10-15 minutes past. We were done with our food and still no drink. The server brought to-go boxes and the check (which still had the drink on). She told me she thinks it is already done and on its way. We had been there over an hour and ready to go. I asked her to remove it from the bill and I didn’t want it.

We always love eating at Baumhower’s, and our adult children request it when they are in town. We love their wings, sandwiches, fried pickles, fish tacos, and fries especially, and the fun atmosphere is hard to beat. We had a great meal here, but the AC unit or something started dripping on us and our table towards the end of the meal, but this was a unique situation and not the norm.

Slow service. The bartender didn’t know how to make the cocktails on the menu. One person ordered a mojito and they served it with rotten mint leaves in it. The kitchen did ok, but the food wasn’t as good as it is at other locations. The server took over 40 min to bill us out, they mixed up items, and they didn’t even remember to give us tableware. Our dining experience was over 2 hours overall, and not because we wanted it to be.

Had Kim K. as our server & she was fantastic! We, a party of 3, had stopped otw back to Alexander City, after going to a nearby cemetery to pay respects to our loved ones. 2 of us had disabilities, mine was more obvious with the walking cane & oxygen machine.

Overall Baumhower’s has everything that you could ask for. The burgers and wings are excellent and the other items aren’t bad either. We love the atmosphere and the service is much better than that other wing place in town. We started coming here and they have not disappointed in any way. Great job
