I love El Tapatio!!! Their food is so delicious & their drinks were really good too!! They bring you hot chips and salsa to start with. They have a bar side and a restaurant side. They have slot machines in the bar side. Our servers were really nice and attentive. We drank some yummy Cadillac Rocks Margaritas I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others. I ordered the super burrito & my sister ordered an enchilada and two tacos off of the “a la carte” menu it was delicious!!! We also ordered churros for dessert

So delicious!!! Came in for lunch and they do a lot of cheap lunch deals for around $10 a plate which is hard to find! But I came for a simple rice beans quac sour cream salsa and chips and it was amazing!!! The perfect lunch! I will definitely be driving in from Portland in the future because there’s hardly any classic Mexican restaurants like that in Portland proper!!!

The food was pretty good, though not anything super special. We split the combination fajitas for two. Large portions and decent flavor. The margaritas were on the weaker side. The wait staff was a little slow even though they didn’t have a lot of tables. Hopefully that’s just because it was a Monday evening.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. It is kind of tucked away in the back away from the main road. I have seen the sign many times, but have passed it up because you can’t really see the restaurant from the street. Definitely worth taking the time to stop and check them out. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious. Will be returning to try out some other dishes soon.
