I love Rumbi Island Grill in Ammon, Idaho. Their grilled chicken rice bowls are delicious. The chicken is tender and juicy, and I like the Hawaiian teriyaki sauce⁶, but they have other options too. The rice is fluffy and the veggies are fresh. The portions are generous and their prices are reasonable. The staff has always been friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We stopped in to grab a quick bite. We ordered the kids chicken teriyaki bowl with Rumbi rice. Delicious!! It was the perfect size when you don’t want the larger bowls. They were out of the shrimp tempura, which is really good. We did notice that they don’t have handicap parking outside the restaurant. There may be some further down in front of some of the other stores but we didn’t notice them.

Maybe I didn’t order the right thing, but the food wasn’t good. I had a pool of teriyaki sauce my food was sitting in. I ordered the teriyaki noodles, which was spaghetti noodles. Not what I was expecting. We sat at two booths because the first one had broken seats.

Rumbi has great food. The sweet potato fries are some of the best in town. Also the Fish tacos are pretty spectacular. The aloha chicken salad is great. I was kind of disappointed they quit making hamburgers. They also have great salmon. The flavoring and’s sauces are all really good. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t been here before.

I’ve been eating here for years but recently it’s not as good as it used to be. The last three times my chicken teriyaki rice bowl has come in different containers so I’ve gotten different amounts of food for the same price. The last time I got maybe 1/2 cup of veggies when they used to give a hearty serving, the chicken is also very very dry. And what I would assume is the owner of the store, has multiple pictures and selfies of herself up around the restaurant and I think that’s very odd and distasteful.. I won’t be back. I used to love this place.

I drive over the road delivering RV units. I went to Staples to get some documents printed and saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I must say I am impressed. I ordered the Caribbean Chicken & Shrimp with a Caesar salad on the side and the Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. I only took a picture of the cake as the meal was already gone by the time I started writing this review! Excellent value and good quality, fresh food. Prompt and friendly service. Highly recommend.
