This is our first time eating at this brick-and-mortar location for Cattani restaurant & catering. We’ve used Cattani several times for catering and the food is always spectacular! Today’s lunch with friends did not disappoint. If you’re used to fast food or meals hurriedly heated in a microwave, then this is not for you. But if your passion is for excellent food, freshly prepared, and authentically made, then look no farther. We had a freshly prepared short rib panini, pappardelle Bolognese, burrata ravioli . The boardwalk pasta was lacking in flavor even though the description sounded like a flavor bomb and it came with 5 tbsp of shredded fresh basil on top which infiltrated and overpowered the dish. The puttanesca was wonderful. The Caesar salad unfortunately was inedible with browning/purple lettuce. Maybe an off night? We have had Cattani once before and it was yummy then..

My family and I LOVE Cattani’s! The food is absolutely delicious! Recently Megan Cattani and her team catered my wedding and it was perfection! Megan made us everything that we wanted and even personalized our menu (like homemade lemon cavatellis)! Our guests are still raving about the food and the presentation! I cannot recommend Cattani’s enough!

I don’t write reviews unless I’m super pleased with a service or super disappointed. To say Cattani’s Kitchen has the best service, atmosphere, and food I have EVER seen is a huge but true statement. Our server was beyond kind and attentive, the chef was brilliant, and the patrons made it feel homely. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and they made sure we had a magical experience, which I am truly grateful for. We started with the prosciutto and burrata appetizer. The burrata, prosciutto, figs, and arugula were so fresh, and the bread was perfectly crisp and seasoned. For our entrees, I got the vodka rigatoni and he got cacio e pepe. Everything was perfectly al dente, flavorful, and authentic. The portion sizes were perfect (we went with the half orders). For dessert, we took home the mini cannolis. I felt like I was back in Florence again! Thank you to the staff and chefs at Cattani’s. We will be back as much as we can!

Was looking for a quaint spot to have a celebratory lunch for a college graduate and this restaurant did not disappoint. It’s cozy and nicely decorated. Service was prompt and friendly, and the food was fresh and tasty! Even the lunch serving sizes were generous! Looked at other Italian restaurants, but went with this one for the highly-rated food which was YUMMY! Would definitely recommend for any occasion. Can’t wait to go back.

My friend and I tried this place yesterday, and it was DELICIOUS!! We started with lemon lobster risotto, which was on special. Then we had short ribs panini with sautéed onions and horseradish sauce. Both were amazing, but the crabby mac was out of this world! The server was so cordial and accommodating.

Fantastic BYOB! We enjoyed Dad’s Taggliatelle Puttanescca and the Papparadella Bolognese. Flavors were outstanding. We recently visited Little Italy in Baltimore. The chefs there should take lessons from the chef at Cattani’s. No reason to travel for outstanding, flavor forward fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Go and be amazed with this jewel in Ewing, NJ!!!
