Someone once said the definition of insanity is keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Me and my wife went to the Valley Station Cracker Barrel for dinner hoping we would receive better service and it didn’t happen. My order the meat loaf dinner and me I ordered the two entry sampler meal with biscuits. We set for over an hour waiting for food to come out.

When the Southern fried chicken first came out, it was amazing. Big, crispy, juicy, chicken. I ordered it expecting that delicious chicken, plus dumplings and hash brown casserole as my sides. The chicken was tiny, greasy, and not crispy at all. Dumplings were super bland. HBC was good. Service was great, prices were good. But food was disappointing.

Great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ordered carryout during Sunday lunch rush, food was prepared quickly! Ordered dumplings and pot roast. I haven’t been to crackerbarrel in years and was expecting it to cost a fortune. It was only 22 and some change. Which was well worth it! I will definitely be back. The store reminds me of a scene out of a fall or Christmas time movie. Love the feeling I got in there, can’t wait to go back with my daughter!

I’ve been to cracker barrel before, but this one was just better. Our waitress (Sissy) was an absolute gem! She offered me a strawberry mamosa that was delicious! The biscuits and gravy were good! I was only expecting 2 biscuits, but they gave me 4! And the hash brown casserole was yummy! Thanks for making my first trip to KY a good one.

I used to order delivery often from Cracker Barrel and had several problems with missing items, food not being prepared properly and the portions were very small for the amount of money. So I stopped for about a year. I recently began ordering pick-up and delivery again and since then I have had no problems. I’m assuming they got new staff and/or management in the mean time. The food is excellent. Haven’t had any issues with my orders and it seems the portions have become larger. I think the quality and the amount of food is excellent for what you pay and the service has also stepped up their game

Took a little while to get my food but was on point when it came. Not real busy at th time I got there but this cracker barrel is usually pretty busy but tiles where clean thanks to the bus boy duty and the waitress Shannon was aweome!! This is definitely a good !!
