Exceptional staff! Very friendly and professional. The rolls were unique. I was surprised they didn’t have vegetable tempura though. Still a fantastic place for sushi. They have some of the more rare delicacies like mungfish liver (good if you like liver) and sea urchin (i don’t like it but my bf loves it).

Umi Sushi is one of my favorite sushi places in town! The Rainbow Roll is one of my favorites, with its colorful and flavorful mix of fish and avocado. The Yellowfin Tuna is also a must-try! You just can’t beat that tender and buttery texture. Everything I’ve had here has been awesome! The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect. Whether you’re a sushi pro or a newbie, Umi Sushi has something for everyone. Highly recommend giving them a try!

So glad this place opened near us! Wow, the sushi was FRESH, flavorful and presented beautifully, big kudos to Lee for making some of the best sushi I have ever had. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was nice and clean. Will definitely be our new regular sushi spot! Pictured here is the Yummy & Mexican rolls, Monkey Brains, and Baked Scallops. We also had the Monster roll but it was so good we forgot to take a picture (and it was a monster size btw). 10/10 would recommend!

I hate to leave poor reviews but I find that honesty is far more important than unmerited flattery. The sushi presentation is stellar. The quality is mediocre at best. The prices are too high and do not reflect the product’s worth. We’ve had WAY better elsewhere. For example; Fuji Bistro, Sushi Rakkyo. $17 for an okay roll ? There is a sticker on the menu stating the need to increase prices due to inflation. Completely understandable. However, there is no new menu reflecting those new increased prices. That seems shady. Transparency should be standard business practice.

We love coming to Umi Sushi. It’s off Dublin and Marksheffel and is worth the drive. It’s hands down the best sushi spot in Colorado Springs. The sushi is fresh and flavorful. There is good parking, and the waiters are attentive. I am surprised more people don’t know about this gem.
