Overall was pretty disappointing. The kaarage had a strange taste and was too salty as well. The chirashi and unagi came on plain rice. Ramen noodles were well made but the broth wasn’t great. Udon tasted very simple. To be fair both noodle dishes are at an reasonable price point though. Agedashi tofu was very bland. The only saving grace was the excellent eel.

Well-deserved 5 stars. This place is absolutely a hidden gem. If you’ve read my reviews before, you would know that I’m quite knowledgeable when it comes to Japanese food.

ITADAKIMASU!! I have a new favorite place to enjoy sushi, grilled eel and sake! This place cant get authentic enough the Chef himself prepares your food!. Its only him and a server , the wait is long BUT its worth it! . Try the Mountains Edge if you love spicy sushi its delicious and mouth watering. Then try Una Don grilled eel with rice served in a beautiful bento its soft, juicy filled with flavor. You can converse with the chef while enjoying a cold sake and a ramen or sushi reminisce the good old days. This place feels personal like your own place away from the busy, hectic life outside.

The best in the City! We’ve been in Vegas since 98’ have eaten at the top Japanese places most are gone today. Not only he has everything you’d want in the menu…. Takashi’s food is top of the line quality. From his sushi, izakaya, ramen, and anything else on the menu. Extremely meticulous and attention to detail he produces his best version of a true Japanese treat in the desert! The final touch is the ambiance with the jazz music. Domo Arigato Takashi! Thank you for your hard work! – Chris & Cherry

A hidden gem! I visited the restaurant multiple times and tried different dishes. Every dish is done well in terms of flavor and portions. On the photo is salmon poke and tonkatsu ramen. Try their chirashi bowl. The sushi rice was flavored right and fish were fresh and generous in portions. Price is amazing. Say hello to Chef Takashi, and read about his background in the menu. Friendly staff and very cozy environment.

Had the Steak roll and Jose roll and they were delicious. Chef was amazing and it was so fun chatting w him a bit while I sat at the bar. Chef mentioned it will be their one year anniversary soon? OMEDETO gozaimasu! CONGRATULATIONS! May you have continued success.

One of the best sushi spots in Vegas hands down. Chef Takashi takes a lot of pride in his work and it’s obvious not only with the way he presents his food but the quality of the ingredients really speaks for itself. Since living in Vegas, this spot is the closest I’ve come to experiencing sushi the way I had in Japan. Thank you for always providing the best food and best experience here. Also a really, really nice atmosphere and an exceptionally clean restaurant. I have yet to go to a better sushi spot in Vegas. Thank you so much!!

A nice spot for a la carte, but their Omakase leaves a lot to be desired. At $100 a person, I was disappointed to see so many sub $10 “filler plates.” For two people, they did give us a single plate with some premium fish: 2 Toro, 4 yellowtail fin, and 2 uni (forgot to take a photo). However, the rest of the fish was mostly just the typical salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. I’d much rather them serve less food but with a bit more variety. If I wanted to be stuffed with cheaper cuts of fish, I could always go to an ayce.
