Odd BBQ is a BBQ joint located inside of Ono Brewery in Chantilly, VA. My fiance and I didn’t come with the intention to eat here but we were surrounded by delicious-looking food. After ordering, they gave us a buzzer to notify us when the food was ready. My fiance enjoyed the Chopped Pork Sandwich, which was served on a brioche bun with pickles and slaw. I wanted a cheesy biscuit but they were sold out for the day. I enjoyed the Smoked Pork Belly Plate with Seasoned Rice, Baked Beans, and Mac N’ Cheese (even though I ordered the Macaroni Carrot Salad). I liked how the pork belly was tender and flavorful with or without the Red BBQ or Vinegar BBQ sauce. The seasoned rice consisted of jasmine rice topped with a dash of sweet soy sauce and coated with rice seasoning. I liked how the baked beans were cooked with smoked pork belly. The Macaroni N’ Cheese was rich and creamy.

Everyone in my group love this place, but it wasn’t all that for me. I received really nice service at the restaurant portion, and not-so-great service on the bar side. The concept is pretty novel and unique, you get a card and you dispense your own beer which is convenient and easy. However, you can’t just use any credit card you have to use their card which requires an additional, and you have to return it at the end of your night. That said, when you start pouring your beers the tab rolls up really quick, ultimately I would say a regular pint comes out to be about $8.

Really enjoyed the brisket. Thick cut with the right amount of fat. The potato salad was great (if you like mustard base). The ONO self pour brewery was great too. Quick friendly service and a relaxing environment.

I visited on a Wednesday evening to experience what I read in online reviews. Finding this place does take some concentration, as this eatery lives at the back of an office building. The out-of-the-way spot can certainly be an advantage with quieter surroundings and ample parking especially at non-peak times or after typical office hours. The interior has an interesting L-shaped layout with the longer part of the L housing both a brewery and eatery. My ordering experience was handled by Laura and one of the most personable ones in recent memory. Laura combined a welcoming energy with a knowledge of the menu and helpfulness for a first-time patron that I hope every visitor gets to experience. Food was prepared within ten minutes of finalizing my selections, and I was apprised every few minutes how my ticket was progressing. The service was memorably outstanding.

It was a nice sunny day, and we wanted to get out for a beer and some lunch. My wife usually does the research and picks where we go, but I decided to look for something close, with good food and more than IPAs. Ono Brewery/Odd BBQ popped up. We’d been there before and had a good impression. I got their beef bacon and cheddar sandwich. My wife got the St. Louis spare rib plate. The sandwich was colossal, and the ribs meaty, smoked and seasoned well. I had a side if their traditional slaw. She had baked beans and seasoned rice. The beans were good, with a seasoning I couldn’t quite get. Maybe nutmeg? Wasn’t thrilled with the rice, but it was ok. Would be happy to return.

Definitely best BBQ spot in Chantilly. Located right inside of Ono brewery. Ono has done a great job with the atmosphere if the spot and has a decent beer selection. As for Odd BBQ… the meats are done perfectly, and the sauces compliment them so well. Absolutely love the Korean twist to the BBQ and sauces.

The BEST BBQ in Chantilly. Meat are tender, juicy and tasty. We’re visiting this place almost twice a week. Staffs are nice especially the lady(forgot her name) and Luke. When it comes from take out they secured the food properly and well packed. We personally loved the outdoor area when there’s bunch of people inside because this resto is sharing place with ONO brewery which is a jackpot combination. We’ve seen a lot of people during lunch that having a good glass of their favorite draft beer with their BBQ. Baked beans taste really good and the kimchi isn’t that spicy but goes really well with the ribs. Family package is worth it.
