Really enjoyed our visit here. We were a little skeptical at first, because we have an Indian restaurant in our neighborhood that we like a lot. This is a nice quieter atmosphere a much smaller location, and much more quaint. The owner was at our table and very good with the service and very enthusiastic. I can see that this is his dream. The food was outstanding. I was very happy with my chicken because it was nice and tender and that is very important to me because I honestly don’t like the taste of chicken. But you have to have it in certain dishes to make it taste good. The naan was superb. I thought I had lost my taste for it over the years but this one has come around to make me have it as the best one for me. Give this place a look at and enjoy every bit of it. I will come back next time and probably try the vindaloo. 10 out of 10.

For the first time in my life out of 1,000’s of restaurants coast to coast, I paid $11.97 for fresh brewed iced tea. Yes, They changed me for my 2 refills. I get it when it’s bottled tea, but not fresh brewed unsweet tea. This was a first, and last.

Food was so savory and delicious service was great! Our waitress was helpful in answering questions regarding the menu and friendly. We tried chicken curry, samosa, garlic naan bread , chicken vindaloo all so good! Definitely returning!

10/10 This place is amazing! I came in not knowing what to get but the staff and owner were super helpful and friendly. We ordered the lamb vindaloo, chicken pepper fry, garlic naan, and samosa. They did not disappoint. The flavor, and the amount of love put into those dishes were incredible! I was absolutely blown away on the first bite. This place has become my new favorite. The atmosphere, and the vibe is so comforting. Want a bonus?! Be sure to try their beer called the “King Fisher” which is an Indian beer.

Hands down the best Indian food I have ever had. I was in town for work and found myself looking for a nice spot to grab lunch. I decided to come to India King based on the positive Google reviews. They opened very recently and I’m so glad I stopped by. The owner was extremely friendly and ensured that everything came out just right. I ordered the Chicken Tikka which was so yummy and flavorful. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the spices were great, and the vegetables were roasted to perfection. I also ordered a side of Raita, which complimented my meal well. My husband ordered the chicken chettinad lunch special which was incredible. He said the naan was done perfectly. The samosa appetizer that came with it was very flavorful. The only downside is that we don’t live in St. Pete, else we would be here all the time! Highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner. Amazing, fresh food!

Great Indian restaurant! Went to it because my hotel was close by and I read nothing but great reviews. I had samosas for an appetizer which were very good then butter chicken with cheese naan and gulab jamun for dessert. I have eaten Indian food all over the world and this restaurant is now in my top 3 favorite. Give it a try! Staff is very friendly.

Went for lunch and tried the samosa chaat and chicken tikka masala lunch special. With garlic naan of course. The food is excellent, best in the area by far. Service is also great, everyone was very friendly and attentive to making sure everything was prepared to my liking and they even brought me some chai tea to try on the house. It’s a small cafe so don’t expect much in terms of ambiance but they have it nicely decorated and very clean. Lunch special is also reasonably priced. Will definitely be a regular here.

Ordered doordash and was blown away. Flavorful and fresh taste without being heavy like other Indian places in the area. Will have to try some more dishes and have a sit down meal in the restaurant, but the butter chicken and tikka masala were very good. We will be back!
