visited Bella Italia in Phoenix, Arizona, after a long time, hoping to enjoy some authentic Italian cuisine. The location was perfect for me, as it was close to where I live. I also loved the small and cozy setting, with limited tables and a friendly staff. The service was great, and the atmosphere was lively. It seemed like everyone knew everyone there, and the phone was constantly ringing for takeout orders.

Small local place that serves a straight forward (non pretentious) Italian menu. Ambience is minimal, maybe even a bit too dark. Our server was friendly, responsive and not too intrusive. The food quality was excellent: simple salad made with fresh ingredients; shrimp scampi was flavorful and done just right… Not under or over cooked. I only wish I had more of an appetite to have tried their pizza which looked pretty good.

Dined in with my children. My oldest asked for a recommendation on a top favorite pasta. The ziti was recommended and my daughter took 2 bites and was not a fan. Two bites off a plate and was not offered another meal but still charged. I would say customer service could be better and more accommodating. We’ve been waiting for months to try and unfortunately leaving unsatisfied.

We’ve been going here for years, we won’t be back. Went in for 50% off pasta night, they no longer offer that, it’s now $4.00 off with no salad. That’s not the problem, the problem is how long it took to get our food, and they weren’t that busy. Another couple came in about 15 minutes after us, and got their food before us. I asked them on the way out, they ordered the same thing as us and more! Lasagna and Checken Picatta. After waiting 30 minutes we asked our waitress to have our dinner to go. She gave no explanation as to why our order took so long. Such a disappointment, we’ve been coming here since we moved here, no more!! My husband has Alzheimers and it’s a treat to go out and be served. It’s not a treat to wait 30 minutes for dinner. So disappointing to see this place go down hill.

We absolutely loved this place, my wife and I were on trip to the west coast and we stopped through Phoenix, and we came across this place by pure happenstance. We got seated and looked over the menu. Alot of Italian options to choose from. I had a beer from Italy and my wife ejoyed the house sangria, which she absolutely feel in love with. We will be taking a return trip just for the food and services that we provided to us.

I stopped in for a carry-out pizza on a good feeling. The place was busy, which is always a good sign. The gentleman at the counter was friendly, the price was reasonable, and the wait wasn’t long. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our pizza, comfortably stuffed with leftovers for tomorrow.
