I truly had good intentions when trying this place. I’m not sure what everyone else tried but the jollof rice meal, the fish and mashed corn fufu were not edible. I eat Nigerian/west African food often. It’s all my MIL and husband’s side of the family cooks. I’m so disappointed because was looking forward to this being a home away from home experience we could enjoy.

Stopped overnight in a nearby hotel and my wife and I decided to try it out based on the 5 star rating. We were not disappointed. We ordered the jerk chicken (D12) and the fried rice with chicken (D1). Both were seasoned perfectly and the provided sauces were spicy. The sweet plantains were a perfect compliment to the spicy flavors. Try the food, you won’t be disappointed.

First time visiting. Ordered the egusi and okra stew, fufu and jollof rice as my sides. Everything seemed reheated and my stew had bunch of bones in it no actual goat meat. For the price, I was expecting delicious meals with meaty portions. I will not return.

This is coming from a Native American’s aspect who had a lot of African food. Hands down best fufu I ever had in my life and prices are worth it cause you get a LOT of food. I couldn’t believe it when I opened my jerk chicken and saw how big the portions are. Great food. Will deff be back.

Friendly, fresh and amazingly delicious food. Such a great owner that takes the time to give suggestions and offer you a great dining experience. True authentic African cuisine. Whole fried tilapia, jerk chicken and the rice and the plantains were absolutely amazing. Such a wonderful first experience and we will definitely be frequenting this gem here in Stafford!

I was there today and OMG I was recommended the oxtail or jerk chicken for my first time and I got the Oxtail. I tell you at first bite I was IN LOOOOVE. there was a distinct African flare with a tint bit of jamaican taste in the oxtails which took my away! The spicy green sauce on the side was perfect to add some heat to the dish (beware the green sauce is ) the jollof rice actually had flavor! Unlike a lot of places where the main entree is the only reason you eat the rice. This rice i could eat by itself all day long! I cant wait to try the jerk chicken! I hope this place stays a long time. The customer service, the fresh hot food i didnt mind waiting for and overall experience was amazing. My photo was me about halfway into demolishing the dish so that tells you I couldn’t stop eating to take a picture of it in the beginning lol
