This place has survived for decades because the food is great, staff has been here a lot of years so it works efficiently. Mariachi Bands roam about ($25 per song is advertised price (in Spanish)). The food is Great….as always. If your ever looking for authentic Mexican food, here is one of a few to try. Its very spacious and the staff is great and very understanding. I had the Mole de Pollo and my wife had the chicken Flauta plate. Delicious! Highly recommend!! Update 7/5/23…added some more pics for today’s visit. A Cheesburger with fries! Yes, I know! But I had Mexican food the other day so was just wanting to experience this burger here at this location. It was good not great. Needed some seasoning. But I was …pleased. And the other 2 pics are salads. One was a Southwest salad with chicken fajitas and the other was shredded chicken salad. Both came with corn, beans and avocado slices

We came into town and this place was rated well so we stopped in. SO WORTH IT. The beans are amazing! They had pork in them and the texture and flavor hit the spot. It was like eating at moms house! The restaurant was also really clean! If you’re ever around the area stop in.

So authentic!!! You may as well be in Mexico!!! The mariachi bands were SO GOOD. Now mind you, I’ve never seen live mariachi so I was a giddy kiddy. I heard a tenor that sounded like Pavarotti and you could tell the horn players have been doing this their whole lives. I’m a musician, it was so exciting to see the vihuela and guitarron. Great atmosphere. Definitely an awesome establishment.

The places is fine. The food need to be more genuine. The grill chicken with shrimp was dry as it can be. The cabrito was good, good portion on the. the rice was as I was getting rice from taco bell, dry, over cooked, and no flavor at all. the service is not to a good standard for a real bussy restaurant. i won’t be going back. there are other places around whit really good food trust me.

We used to love coming here, and were excited to celebrate my father in laws birthday, Now it’s like they don’t care about quality, our drinks were poorly mixed, they didn’t taste at all like they were supposed to. The food was bland, flavorless, and over priced.. and we left most on the plate. So it ended up as a waste. Definitely won’t be going back… Which really sucks because it used to be so good.

I say the food is really good. The tortillas are made fresh. If you go to the bar, the service is not good though. I tried to tell the manager but she made excuses about it. There is never an excuse for bad service. I wouldn’t reach out to her for no reason. I did feel some attitude from the server because how I was being choosy with my order. She cut me off 2 times. After ordering, i had to wait 10 minutes so she can ask me what my order was again. She did everything else beside put my order in, probably forgot about it , then had to ask me again. Manager didn’t make it seem like she was sorry at all.
