Great service and the location is very clean and spacious. Plus a spacious outdoor seating area. The food was lacking flavor but it’s a creative concept and was still pretty good. There are two vegetarian/can be made vegan taco options—I did two Brussel. Id go back for the mushroom.

During a visit to Richmond, we decided to give Wong’s Tacos a try! Turns out it was one of the best decisions ever because the fusion between asian and Mexican cuisine was the thing that we didn’t know we were missing! I am a big fan of bulgogi and Korean bbq so I ordered the Korean beef burrito. The marinated meat was so good that it melted in my mouth. The kids got some bento boxes with multiple different tacos. Their favorites were the carne asada and the shrimp tempura tacos. The chips and salsa were a bit hit with all of the kids and we shared the egg rolls as an appetizer. Beyond the food, the server went way out of her way to explain the most popular dishes with us as well as a brief tour of the menu which made us much more comfortable with our decisions. I hope they open one closer to home for us but in the meantime we will just have to travel for our Wong Taco craving! Thank you!

This place did not disappoint at all. Great taco options with plenty of fusion flavors to enjoy. We’ve been wanting to try this spot for awhile now and finally got the chance on date night before our comedy show and we can’t wait to go back and try more! Staff were friendly and handled the dinner rush extremely well. 30min wait was well worth it. Great flavors and plenty of choices for this location and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Restaurant with a unique mix of latin and asian flare! The atmosphere is nice as they offer tv’s for sports and news around the bar, and hit music playing over speakers for customers to enjoy. Additionally, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating allowing for more seating and creating seating options for patrons. I ordered a Bento Box which came with 2 tacos, chips and queso, and sweet plantains. I enjoyed the plantains very much as the sweetness paired nicely with the salted chips and queso. Tacos of choice included the Kung Pao Chicken, and Jerk Chicken, both on corn tortillas. I also asked for a side of salsa verde and ghost pepper hot sauce to pour top. Wasn’t a fan of the salsa verde, but the ghost pepper had a nice kick to it (recommend if enjoy hot and spicy). The tacos were on the smaller side, however, the packed king size flavor! The meats were juicy, tender, and flavorful, and the topping associated with each taco paired perfectly! Wong’s Taco’s does it right when it comes to taco creations! The absolute right amount of savory and sweet deliciousness mixed with the added heat of ghost pepper (added) sauce.I ended the meal with a Chinese cheesecake. While it was good, it honestly just tasted like a hot cheesecake. So if you are curious, imagine eating a cheesecake (although it is made to look like an eggroll cut diagonally into two pieces) and then imagine it microwaved for a minute. As strange as it may sound, it still was pretty delicious. Highly recommend to others looking for something to eat. This place has wild and bold flavors that are sure to have you leaving happy, full, and satisfied! Great place to experience with a group of friends, family, or co-workers! 4.8 Stars!

The food here is so unique and delicious! We tried the nachos (huge!) The fried rice, and the quesadillas. The blend of Asian and Mexican spices seems strange, but it works!! There’s also a spacious heated outdoor eating area. My only complaint is that I wish there were more locations! We will definitely return if we ever pass through Richmond again.

Absolutely loved with place! Food was delicious. I got the poke taco and Korean beef taco. Plus we shared some nachos. The food was well prepared, had good flavors, and very creative. The service was quick and I loved the decor inside. It was very unique. My only complaint was how big the jalapeño slices were. So instead of spreading out the heat by having small bits in every bite, you got some bites with a whole chunk of jalapeño that made it spicy. But besides that, all was good and can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

I had the pleasure of dining at Wong’s Taco with my greedy foodie bloggers @we_hungryaf and we were blown away. The deliciousness of the Chorizo Fried Egg Rolls, Shrimp Tempura Tacos, Korean Beef Tacos, Chorizo Chimichanga, and Wong’s Macho Nachos was memorable. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.
