Ordered calamari and it was overcooked, tough and chewy. Got the hibachi shrimp and scallops. Very little flavor. The shrimp were mushy. Lots of vegetables come in the hibachi meal, but there was too much liquid in with the shrimp and scallops. The scallops were cooked well. The yum yum sauce was flavorless. I did order a yum yum roll and it was average. Got to eat with chopsticks because that’s all they give you.

We enjoyed this fast dinner. It seems more setup for togo/door dash business, but they have a few tables inside that you bus yourself. Doug was really nice! The area isn’t the best but it is what it is. For hibachi, they use thigh meat maybe( not breast meat) and its different than the cook in front of you style hibachi but the kids still enjoyed it. Great place for quick sushi.

Fairly nice Japanese restaurant on the outskirts of Charleston. The sushi tasted good and the order was ready in just a few moments. They’re locked down with Covid, the kitchen in blocked off with plastic and the dining area limited to four people.

Highly recommend this place, I wasn’t expecting it be this good because it’s on the cheaper side, but I was fortunately surprised. The fish quality is good and the variety is very good. They are not open for dine in at this time so I just got a takeout order.

I love that Hibachi Express delivers. I like sushi but don’t always have the time to go to a sit down restaurant and get it, especially while working, so having the option of delivery is great. They offer a wide variety of sushi and it’s reasonably affordable, especially if you get a lunch combo that allows you to pick a few different rolls. This is also a great way to sample and try new types of sushi, more so if you haven’t tried much or any at all in the past. Every time I’m in the office now, I want to order from Hibachi Express!

Stopped here as we were driving through along 77 with our four kiddos. It can be difficult to find quick and good food for a family of 6. But this was a great experience…Excellent, friendly service. Just incredible food. They shared that they’re not a franchise so everything is homemade and it shows!! The yum yum sauce was delicious yet slightly different and even better than the usual yum yum. Veggies, soup, everything was great!! We’re adding this to our list of favorites for our next road trip! Thanks!

The salad dressing is the best i’ve ever had. I ordered a vegetable hibachi and I got a very generous portion of broccoli, zucchini, onions, and carrots. My favorite is when there are mushrooms in the mix and this one did not have any. The flavor of the sauce was very good but it was very watery. My husband liked his chicken hibachi. The one thing that threw us off was the fried rice. It was not very good at all. I think it was fried in bad oil because the taste was unique for such a simple food. It smelled weird and it tasted weird. Maybe just an off day.
