Our recipes are all James’ originals, including his rubs, sauces, chilis, and coleslaws. 10/10 would recommend. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t stop in for a plate. Staff was extremely sweet and helpful; felt like home. We ordered the rib and chopped chicken plate. Everything was very tasty and flavorful. Portions are great for the price (we had already started digging in when pictures were taken). If we are ever in Chattanooga again, we won’t hesitate to stop by.

We went here because we wanted something different. I ordered the pork plate which came with 2 sides. The portion was huge & the meat & sauce was delicious. Hubby had the beef which was also really good. We had to wait quite a while because they were crowded but it was worth the wait!

The food is GREAT!!! The service, oh my, you must pack your patience. I decided to call in my order today because I was at work, lunch break. I started calling at 1:00 p.m., and the phone kept going to the voicemail. I called 3 times and decided to get something else. As I was passing the place, I saw that they were open, went in, and stood behind one gentleman. The gentleman and I acknowledged each other ,we stood there for about 5 to 10 minutes, and no one was up front. I heard someone from the back say I’m getting your food now, and a small, thin man looked around the corner and saw us standing in line, but the guy was eating a rib. After a few minutes more, the gentleman looked restless and went to the corner to look. The guy came with his food. The guy was moving very slowly or carefully. I had to ask the guy, ” Can I place an order?” At that time the I heard the phone ring, so I knew the phone was working.

Worst Experience Ever! Because of them my son had to go to the hospital due to a hives breakout (due to a seafood allergy) whatever they did or the fact that they didn’t change out their oil and it got on his food. Either way it was very unpleasant. I’ll never return

Awesome BBQ! I made the mistake of calling it Memphis style and was corrected by the owner that it is Chattanooga style BBQ, which is delicious! They recommended ribs or pulled pork and both were great. Big portions for the price too. Owner came out and visited with us and was super friendly. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll be dropping in!
