We have lived in town for a couple of years now and have heard about the Depot, but haven’t tried it until today. We were not disappointed. We wanted something new for tonight’s dinner so we tried here. We started with the pretzels with the beer cheese. The pretzels were really good, not too greasy. The cheese sauce on the other hand, there are no words. I have had beer cheese sauce at other pubs, and nothing compares to this, it was beyond good, not just on the pretzels, but on everything else too. Then came the fried pickles. These are the best fried pickles in one hundred miles. The breading stayed in the pickles and it was very crunchy. Then came the entrees, I had the Reuben with curly fries. I have had Reubens at other places and this one is in the top 10, if not the top 2. My wife had the Rachael. It was amazing the bread was very fresh and the ratio of coleslaw to turkey was right on. My mother in law had the special Lobster roll. It was full and not too much mayo (who likes a mayo rich lobster roll) and the bun was well toasted. And last but not least was my father in law and he had the Steak and Cheese. The bomb, it was very good, great flavor. I was very impressed with this little pub hidden in Gardiner. Olivia was a fantastic server, very attentive, we never had empty glasses and didn’t wonder where she was or the food for that matter. Nice atmosphere, very focused on local, a bit noisy tonight, but that was out of their control and I can’t let that affect my over all review. I am going to add this place to my list of places that I go regularly, and I highly recommend the Depot to anyone in or coming to town.

I visited this place from a recommendation. Busy place at the time of our visit. Great beer list with plenty of sports on the TV’s to catch the games. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak which was served on a hotdog roll. Parking lot is across the street.

Good variety of pub type food. My favorites are the curry chicken wrap, chicken cranberry wrap, Nachos, and pulled pork sandwich. Whatever your preferences, everything is well prepared, generous portions, and reasonably priced.

Went there with a friend who knew the place. My first time. We ordered a patriot pizza beer and Pepsi. It was really good. Going back again for sure

Great place to go. One, for the food AND atmosphere. A good plan is to boat up the river to Gardiner and walk across the street for some good food, drink and conversation.

I’ve been here a few times now. The drinks are always good. They have live music some nights. The food menu is pretty extensive and everything I’ve gotten has been tasty and well made. Good service. A variety of booths and tables. Limited parking out back and more parking across the street which is better suited to trucks and larger vehicles.

The beer menu is huge and a very good selection. Menu was also surprising with a large number of items to choose from. Had the steak and cheese and it was fantastic. I was there on a Monday midday and not busy at all. Service was great and attentive. Parking was no problem at all.

We’re half way into February and the place still has their Christmas decorations up. Food was basically cold when delivered. Soda glasses solid full of ice.
