We visited Mountain Mike’s (opposite our hotel) after a long day walking around Monterey. Service was very friendly, the pizzas arrived quickly and we’re both delicious. We only had small pizzas and got a box to take the rest.

HEY MANAGEMENT! Walked here from hotel across the street just now walked through the front door at 9:15ish. Server greeted me with “Can I help you?” so I asked when you close, he kindly told me that you had “already closed”. I chose the location because I could walk to it AND Google says you’re open both on the large posting and when I look at your listed hours, AND that as I approached walking I couldn’t help but notice the lit up OPEN sign, the front door propped open patio still well lit, it was very inviting.

Would not have known this was a chain had I not looked it up! And that’s a compliment. EXCELLENT pizza from here. Great texture, and even better flavor, with efficient service as well. Was staying in a hotel nearby, super easy to call in, walk over, pick up the pizza, and take it back to the room.

This this place has very poor service. Run by teenagers attempting to run the place into the ground. Called to ask if they were showing the NFL game, was told they only show supercross. Walked in for take out to find 10 different tvs on the wall. Full bar, but no bartender 1.5 hours before closed. Was offered shots only but no cocktails weird. Sad really, was nice big clean restaurant. Just being managed very poorly.

This place was great! My sister and I actually ate here twice while we were staying in Monterey because it was so good. The pizza was so delicious and the salad bar was very fresh and well stocked. Great service, the food came out fast, and we liked the atmosphere too. I wish there was Mountain Mike’s in Virginia!

We asked for half Everest no olives and half pepperoni large pizza. Does that look like half Everest to you? Plus the Everest did not look like the one I order from Union City. Lack of toppings. It however was generous with the pepperoni.

The pizza is decent. I’m tempted to add a star for the impressive bar with the huge projector screen. I bet this is a decent hang out spot for televised sporting events. Three stars for tasty pizza from a chain pizza joint. I don’t rate the same way a lot of others do. 4+ is reserved for excellent and amazing. Having said that it’s hard to go wrong here for your typical pizza needs.
