This place was super clean the service is awesome. She was super friendly and very helpful but once we start eating the food wasn’t 5 stars… There’s no way. I got a wet burrito but it wasn’t wet as u see the bottom of the burrito is dry… No sauce.. it was carne asada but it was dry and NO favor… My wife got Mexican Burger that was plain. As well NO Favor… Just plain… The only good thing was the service and the flan. That was off the hook. Everything else… Well i wish i would of gone somewhere else. Visiting Long Beach… If u come here don’t go here… Save your money and go to Taco Bell..

Morning cashier on Saturday 7/1/23 did not appear to be happy to be working and made it obvious. Food was just okay. The chilaquiles are made with stale tortilla chips. No effort.

I kind of Judge my Mexican food how I judge my hotels! I typically only review places that I really love because I don’t like leaving bad reviews anywhere, and this isn’t really a bad review it’s just a three-star review! If you want basic Mexican food you can come to this place I specifically told them that I really really really don’t like dry burritos but just like the last place I visited, their California Burrito was pretty basic and dry , I know I’m from San Diego and I get the best Mexican food ever, but I guess this is just the standards of Long Beach just put some dry carne asada with some cold broken up french fries and put just a teeny bit of non melted cheese guacamole and sour cream on the burrito and life is good right? Which kind of is after a few beers I was ready to eat but it was absolutely nothing special just basic basic food! Still giving Long Beach a second and third chance at providing good Mexican food, but if you’re looking for good Mexican food in Long Beach right now and you must have an enjoyable time try Viva La Frida off of East 4th Street in Long Beach right across the street from a McDonald’s…. there Mexican food is hot juicy and everything you need! There are also a couple other Mexican food places that I review in Long Beach that are totally legit and amazing like La Prima on Long Beach Boulevard…

Nice small place. The barbacoa tacos were really good. Only $1.65 a taco! Chips and salsa were yummy. If you order a chile relleno, I will note that they top it with some type of secret sauce (Mayonnaise and tapatío?), I didn’t care for it but scraped it off and topped it with salsa it was good.

Bomb food! Vibe is off unfortunately. I always feel like the guy that works the counter is gossiping about me in Spanish. Not cool.
