This place is tucked away from the main through way. It was fairly busy considering it was a late Monday lunch. Ordered a staple, tai and brisket pho’ . Broth was average, not heavily flavored, but the portion for a regular order made me glad I did not order the large. The brisket was flavorful.

Service was quick and the pho was rich and flavorful. I’d recommend paying with debit card since there is a 3.5% surcharge on credit cards.

Great tasting pho! Fresh ingredients especially the rice noodle is fresh not the dehydrated kind. We also tried rice rolls and was surprised about the portion and taste. It is comparable with Tai Ho’s rice rolls. Highly recommended if you want fresh pho and rice rolls.

Pretty solid pho place when we’re in the neighborhood. As this restaurant is located in the middle of the industrial park it’s catered more to the weekday lunch crowd. Very tasty broth and meat cuts but one star off for raising the famous crepe apertizer prices so much that it is more expensive than the entrees. Boo.

I ordered chicken BBQ and my husband ordered beef, both food was cold and not fresh at all. It was not even busy at that moment. We came home with upset stomach. We won’t comeback again.

If you’re a fan of pho, you will like this place. The pho isn’t the best I’ve had but it’s good. I usually hit up this place when I want the vietnamese dish “banh xeo”. They call it the moon crepe. It’s the best I’ve had in the bay area! I big must try!! While writing this I feel like I should go get some now!

I have tried most of the places that serve coffee in the area, and Pho Y #1 is the best, by far. Try the French style – it is served in real cups and glasses – no plastic if you dine in. The food is also wonderful. The Seafood Moon Crepe is my favorite.
