Bonsái Sushi is awesome! I know that they do not have too much tables to dine in, but either way you choose to dine in or take out, you will love the sushi from here! I’ve tried different options and they were delicious. There is a plenty of different options both spicy or not spicy. I recommend it to all sushi lovers!

The sunset roll was really good! They were very quick in getting a to-go order ready.

Horrible experience! Service with a frown rather than a smile. No drink refills. We came in at 6:30. They close at 8. We were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered 4 rolls for five of us to start, but told the waiter we’d order another round after seeing which rolls we liked most. The place got busy and we didn’t see the waiter again, when he finally came back he told us our second round of sushi would be a two hour wait. He just wanted to clear us out. So we each got less than one roll. They should help their existing customers first. Spoke with the manager and he was completely apathetic. We ended up going to Saida Sushi instead. Way better service! Way better quality at Saida which is only a few blocks away!

There are interesting sushi rolls and they are quite big but compared to other local sushi we were disappointed. Still okay just not great. The one with mango was a little too sweet for us.

Sushi quality is 4 stars. The one roll I had that I’d say was great was the Bonsai Roll. The Texas was a cool concept, but had way too much cream cheese. It was overwhelming after a couple pieces. I took off a star because I tried to come back last Saturday at 7:00 (their hours on Google said they closed at 8:00) and they were closed. Update your hours please!

Has a home type feel, but has great quality sushi for the price. The service is great. As far as service goes from sushi around here I feel this place takes first. I was super hungry (I eat a lot) and we ordered 4 rolls for two people and it was more than enough. It came out to about almost $30 for both, which isn’t bad. The sushi could have been a little colder. Overall great experience and I’ll for sure be coming back. Loved it!

The service was friendly and fast! Very reasonably priced sushi rolls. If we had more time, we would have ordered a ton more! Best tasting sushi I’ve had so far in UT.

Not a horrible experience but also not your best option in my opinion. I ended up spending $17 on two rolls with a modest tip (this was from their lunch menu which is cheaper than the dinner menu). For that amount of money you can get better quality somewhere else. I asked for extra spicy mayo on the side which made a big difference, without it the sushi is a little bland. There’s also a good chance I just orders the wrong thing though. My friend got two fried rolls and I will say those were much better but also more expensive and still bellow what I would expect for the price. On the positive end, the service is good and the meal was quick and convenient. Overall I would recommend going somewhere like five sushi brothers around the corner instead.

Came across this place by accident, but we’re glad we did! The food was really good. My wife eats sushi often and enjoyed the tuna roll here. I actually don’t like sushi, but they actually had a steak roll (“Texas roll”) and I really liked it!

We have been systematically trying all the sushi places in Provo/Orem and of the 8+ we have tried this is our favorite. Atmosphere is nothing to write home about but the rolls are fully loaded, fresh, and big. About 10 pieces per roll. Loved the Cuban and habenero mango.
