I wanted a true, local breakfast and that’s exactly what I got. I’ve never been so glad I stopped. From casual conversations with an 86 year-old local and the town mail carrier to the “Grandma’s Rules” posting, the good food is just icing in the cake. If you expect fancy or fast, find somewhere else. If you want a solid meal that reflects the feel of the area, take your time and enjoy the ride. This place is a gem.

Nice, friendly people but isn’t everyone in the area? I ordered a Patti Melt and cottage cheese but he brought fries. Unfortunately the worst burger I’ve ever had. Dry, tasteless no matter how much I salted it. Daughter ordered bacon cheeseburger…no bacon. We were the only ones in the place so server was 0 for 2 on getting the order right. As I said, nice folks but won’t return.

Great food, great prices and friendly service. A great locality owned cafe with lots of home made food. All the meats are locally sourced. I’ve only had the breakfast but I’ll be back for lunch. The burgers sound legit. And less than ten bucks for a burger made with real beef.

Was looking for a place in Clark Fork for a late Saturday morning breakfast and saw My Place Cafe was open under new management. Typically I don’t try places “under new management” but I was hungry and decided to give it a go. I was VERY happy that I did. My husband and I shared an incredible sausage-mushroom-cheese omelette and french toast. AMAZING! Two thumbs up and prices are reasonable. Coffee for $1.00. If you order their daily special, they donate $1.00 to the local high school. Very cool giving back to the community. Hungry? Give My Place Cafe a try. We’ll definitely be back.

Decided to stop for breakfast when passing through. The coffee was good but the meal was served cold. It had a decent flavor but I don’t like eggs cold. The waiter forgot to bring my toast and the sour cream/salsa for the omelet. After I asked for these things the waiter brought me cold, hard toast. I won’t be stopping by next time I pass through town.

I had the Reuben which was an amazing sandwich and my husband had the daily special which was a combination of pastrami peppercinis provolone and some other things on a ciabatta roll. The service was quick and efficient and we got everything we ordered. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch.

Horrible service, I recommend taking your order to go, better service.. I asked the guy several times for an ice water, he went to the other room, drank his coke and played on his phone, when I finally got my water, no ice, warm.tried to ask for napkins, he just walked away and ignored me..good food, will order to go from now on
