Overall a good meal. We went at 1PM on a Wednesday, and we had almost the whole inside to ourselves, everyone else was eating outside. Service was good, the food was good. They do charge a 5% surcharge, I wasn’t told what that’s for, but I took that out of the tip (assuming that’s a mandatory tip), even though I paid in cash. They do charge 3% extra to pay with a card, but that’s becoming very common in Flagstaff sadly. Overall, the portions were a bit small for the price, I wasn’t wowed enough to want to pay that price for the quantity and although the food was good, it didn’t seem overly special, so I probably won’t be back. I had the biscuits and gravy meal ($11.49) and my kids had the pancakes and waffle (with a drink). They enjoyed their meals, and at $8 each, it was more reasonable. The vintage decor is cool though, it has a good atmosphere and it’s been completely packed when we’ve attempted to go in the past.

Good, not great food. Highlights were the chicken in the chicken and waffles. Great light batter, but they were tenders! More details on that comment in my con’s. Biscuit was tasty, but gravy not so much. For the cons. Be clear that they are tenders and not actual chicken pieces, which is what we were hoping for. Thankfully, the batter was amazing and made up for it. The waffles were waffles, nothing special. The maple syrup was bitter. Not hot sauce as they describe, but like black coffee or something. Can’t put my finger on it, but was the first thing to come to mind. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy also had a similar taste of black coffee. Can’t put my finger on it, but nothing like homemade country gravy that I would expect. I usually drench my biscuits with gravy to drown out the dry biscuit, but in this case i ate the biscuit dry and threw out the gravy. If you know me, I love gravy so this is weird. Don’t get me wrong, the gravy wasn’t bad, just not what i expected from country gravy. No sausage flavors, just a little bitter white gravy that I didn’t particularly enjoy. Finally, not as pet friendly as claimed. Outside only and outside sitting is seasonal. Would have been great to know in advance. Would have also been nicer if they were more empathetic. They do pack their food to go well and kept the wet and dry items separate as I asked.

Crazy busy atmosphere, excellent food. The weight was only about 15 to 20 minutes. I made the mistake of sitting at the bar, which was very loud. I chose the made to order omelette with chipped beef and sweet potato tater tots and was happy with that decision. The freshly made orange juice was a little overpriced but was delicious. We will return for the food but will sit at a table next time.

We were stopping through Flagstaff on a road trip and went here for brunch. Everything was incredible. All six of us loved our meals. The orange juice is also some of the best I have had!

Amazing food! We the chicken-fried steak, and the “OG Wolfpack”. Fresh OJ is a must. Coffee is good, but could be a but stronger. If we’re ever back in Flagstaff, we’ll eat here again.

We had a lovely food server–she really was so kind and tried! The food and coffee tho was so awful . Our server discounted our food due to it not being cooked all the way thru. This would be such a cool spot with some good food–love the atmosphere–but food is meh.

Great place for breakfast. The servers and wait staff were very attentive to details and got our orders drive perfectly. The manager made her way to every table making sure everything was taken care of. It was very busy, but we called ahead to let them know we had a party of eight and they had it all set up for us when we arrived so we didn’t have to wait at all. Better service than most fancy restaurants!

Not a fan of leaving negative reviews, however, this one is necessary. We were eating our food and found an insect in it, see pics. For this disgusting incident we only got 20% off that dish, amounted to just over $3 on a $44 check. It’s not like we’re looking to eat for free but this was totally gross. No manager came to talk to us or anything. Our server was nice but this is unacceptable service for a popular and busy place.

Great food and an inventive menu! We loved it. The wait was a bit at lunchtime (20-30 minutes) but their text alert system made it easy for us to do other things while we waited. Our server was sweet and friendly, and the menu options were fantastic! My wife had avocado toast and I had the johnny cakes. We will definitely come again!
