The food was amazing as it has been every time we order. The service was top notch. We ordered for our church picnic. Not only did they accommodate us by having our order ready 2 hours before they open, but then they brought our order out to our car for us. And it was ready right on time! I will always support Gip Got Tips!

We had a BBQ pitch in for my job. At first they was talking about going to king ribs since we work on the west side on 16th & Crawfordsville rd. But our friend Britt suggested this to us. Definitely glad we ordered. I live on the east side & this will be my goto bbq spot! The meat first off smelled magnificent, the presentation was up to standard & the flavor was absolutely GREAT! I think for 2 half pans for $140 wasn’t bad at all bc it was so much meat. The chicken… their chicken was over expectations it was flavorful & moist, the pork had a great flavor top & the way they slice it makes it more than enough. They have it for pork lovers & for non pork lovers. Oh customer service was a very professional & wonderful experience.

The individual portions were always fresh, meaty(not a lot of bones or gristle) and have a palpable smokey flavor HOWEVER the catering style tips and chicken did not deliver the same quality or flavor. The sauce seems more vinegar based than sweet and is so so good. I won’t buy the split pan anymore but will happily purchase the individual. As for the customer service, it appears to be a tad unorganized. Went to the back of the store for pickup and was told to go up front when I got upfront I was told to go back to the rear of the store again. They need a bigger building and more parking to make pickup less frustrating for their customers.

Got the rib tips and they were delicious! Loved the barbecue sauce. Not sweet or spicy-just perfectly smoked meat and great barbecue. Good portion size as well.

I’ve tried multiple times to order from this place but can never place an order. They’re only open a few days a week and have very limited hours so it makes it difficult to support. I’ve heard great reviews and would love to try them but ordering is a nightmare. The site always says there not taking orders even when they’re supposed to be open. I call to order and get no answer so atp idk how anyone ever gets food from this place.

4/5/2023 UPDATE: This is 1 of 2 updates. The 2nd will be posted once we go back. The owner contacted me and explained the reason for the delay in opening their doors that day. Thanks for that! We had a great conversation about her and her family opening this location. She is very professional and a lively person from our phone call. So once we taste those tips I’ll be back to update y’all.

The amazing glazed smokie fried wings and fries were amazing. They had a smokie flavor then fried just right. The fries have a coating on them not just your average crinkle fries. I WILL be returning.
