Perhaps the best maduros (fried sweet plantains) I’ve had in New York. Their beef stew on rice and peas is delicious and authentic too, served with chunky pieces of meat and flavorful carrots and rice.

It was all good until I found a roach in my food. I ordered an avocado salad and white rice. I combined the two and mid way I see a little roach on a piece of romaine lettuce. Their food tastes good but I am NOT ok with this u wanted ingredient. So, I will not be ordering from them ever again. And this is a harsh reminder on why cooking in is always the better option.
