Stumbled on this spot having come from the Honfleur Gallery next door. The young lady who runs the restaurant let us sample the Honey Curry and Buffalo wings. My son, the world’s pickiest eater, actually enjoyed it! We all got the wings, the Chickpea Mac N Cheese and Collard Greens, as well as the Carrot Cake. Took it home, and my wife, the world’s 2nd pickiest eater, also loved it! The carrot cake was great too. Worth the drive to from New Carrollton to Anacostia, but good to know there are closer locations as well. Highly recommend!

From the customer service to the food, everything was amazing. 10/10!! I ordered the maple wings, collard greens, & Mac and cheese. I also got a jumbo chocolate chip cookie and carrot cake. I loved every single item but the Mac and cheese and carrot cake topped it off for me!

I never had vegan food before and wanted to try . I Googled best vegan food and Evolve came on top, i decided to give it a try! I was pleasantly surprised that the food was delicious. I tried the jerk chicken with rice, side of cabbage and homemade mac and cheese. I loved everything.

This experience was the worst ever. It was totally dirty from seeing all the food splattered all over the hot bar which was in addition to the long wait times. There wasn’t anyone in the restaurant but 1 girl in front of me.

Amazing vegan food that changes from day to day. Everything is very flavorful and well seasoned. We always get the wings with taste really close to real chicken and alway hit. The greens are always tender, and the vegan mac is something special. It’s hard to make good cheese substitute but they nail it. Always friendly staff to chat with. Really good vegan deserts as well. We come back every few months.

I dined here w my best friend who is also a vegan & we both LOVED it. All the food was served from a hot bar that offered plenty of variety in both entrees and sides. We shared the stirfry, pulled “pork” BBQ, Brussel sprouts, and both kinds of macaroni & cheese (one made w soy had a smoke flavor & the other w cashew that was more creamy). For dessert, we split the Peanut Butter Bliss Cake (turned out to be more chocolate than PB) that was heavenly. The prices for the food were spectacular for the portions & quality. While the beer & wine selection was pretty good, I thought wine was overpriced for a glass. We will definitely return, as the staff was friendly, street parking convenient, metro accessible & 100% vegan restaurants are hard to find! A great place for a quick bute, a dinner date or carryout!

The food was amazing and everyone was friendly. As someone who rarely eats vegan foods I was nervous in trying it. However the people their explained each meal and even offered samples! Vegan fried stake, Vegan chicken drumsticks, cashew mac and cheese, collard greens and sweet potatoes…no dairy, no meat…and delicious. Anyone who has written a negative review for this place probably either doesn’t like Vegan, or doesn’t miss soul food. The best thing was my body felt good afterwards. I enjoy eating here because I always leave feeling satisfied without the drag related to overeating.

I went here on Thanksgiving and they were open serving a vegan feast. It was phenomenal and the owners and staff were so friendly. The portions are huge and the price is great. If I lived in DC I would go all the time.
