This was my first time ordering and will be my last. I saw a post on Facebook asking people to decide between Fusaro’s and Mamma Rosa’s. Mamma Rosa came heavily recommended. I have had and enjoy Fusaro’s so I thought I would give MR a try. I ordered a whole pie for one person thinking I could eat it for a few days after. It was well done and no way it could be reheated. I did eat two slices and just threw out six. I ordered through Slice and had it delivered. I contacted Slice today when I threw the pizza in the trash and the restaurant said that they wouldn’t help me since the order was a few days ago. I’d hate to have seen the pizza if I ordered it well done.

Ya know it’s been a long time coming… we’ve been enjoying Mamma Rosa’s since it opened and not once did we lift a finger to write a review… sorry about that ! We just finished 3 of the best Italian dinners …. that we had delivered… ones that I would have paid a lot more for and would’ve had to leave the house for. We haven’t really had a bad meal the whole time we’ve been using them … always satisfied and full !!! Thanks Momma Rosa’s for some really good eats … we appreciate you guys a lot.

The sauce was good. But false advertising for a price will never be Okay. For the record the pizza was actually a 10”. The box didn’t even make it to 14” like I had ordered. A 14” cauliflower crust as stated.

Food is not horrible. Service is almost as if you are walking into a stoner-lounge. Do not order delivery. They use “slice,” and the food is delivered through doordash drivers. The drivers are fine, but the food is never ready for pick up, causing a delay that is unacceptable. See other similar reviews and you will understand the issues at hand.

Picked up my food for Christmas Eve and they were running a little late like you would expect from any best tasting Italian Food place. The demand so high which is understandable. They offered me some Pizza (while I waited) and threw in a couple bottles of soda. Great customer service and believe me the food was worth the wait. Won’t order anywhere else. Merry Christmas!

Absolutely love the food, I think it is great… Go there regularly, and dine in. We also used to order delivery regularly, however, I just attempted to call for delivery and was told that because I live in Manahawkin, there will be an extra $2 delivery charge… I live in Ocean acres, less than two miles away… Just makes no sense to me. Would rather pay a standard delivery charge no matter where we live than pay extra just because we live across a border line (closer than 95% of Barnegat). Out of principle will no longer be ordering from here, unfortunately.

This place, and their bagel store, needs better management ASAP! We’ve given them so many tries and always have an issue with our orders and yesterday was the last time we’ll order from them. Most recent issue- we ordered three hot subs for pickup. We waited the 45min to pickup our order. My husband went in to pickup our order and the three young kids couldn’t find the ticket. After searching for it they found it in the garbage and proceeded to enter it into the register to have my husband pay but our food order was never entered into the system and they said we’d have to wait another 45min. My husband told them to forget the order. My husband went back in to speak with the owner and was told there wasn’t even bread to make the sandwiches. The husband and wife owners were both there and the wife said “sorry, I’m not sure what you want me to do.” Not a peep from the husband. At the same time, another person was coming back because they left one of the dinners out of his order. We’re locals, we ordered from here often but NEVER again!! Save yourselves the hassle and order from Marchionis.
