Tried for the 1st time through UberEats and the restaurant ran out of Spicy Beef Sausage. They substituted a Beef Rib but forgot my side items (Baked Beans w/Beef, Mac & Cheese, Cornbread) and gave me a Pulled Pork with Coleslaw instead of Pulled Chicken sandwich (I noted to make it without coleslaw). The Peach Cobbler was good.

Food was subpar! I ordered via uber eats the order itself was wrong. I ordered rib tips mac&cheese and yams. I received baked beans instead of my mac&cheese. The food was luke warm, I asked for extra bbq sauce on the side I didn’t receive it. Im disappointed and if I my car was here I would definitely take it back to them. Wasted my money! Reply to owner my food was dropped off 1st because I was 7 minutes away from your establishment 2nd no one called to let me know that mac&cheese was gone for you to insinuate I am like most people shows your single minded thinking! Had you called you would’ve known if I answer or not. Had I seen where the extra bbq was on the order menu I would have tapped it. If you seen where I wrote extra bbq why wouldn’t you honor that and charge me for it because it clearly states in that box if you write something here it maybe an extra charge. I was very disappointed. I ordered the quarter chicken with 2 sides and peach cobbler. The chicken was very dry and the only flavor came from the BBQ sauce. The cornbread was dry and tasted like it had been microwaved out of the refrigerator. The dressing was more salty than flavorful and my vegetables were straight out of a can. Lastly and most disappointing was the undercooked, unsweetened peach cobbler. My entire meal was heartbreaking. I had very high hopes. The customer service however, was excellent.

I LOVE this place! Since leaving home I have not been able to find a truly spicy link sausage it is here and I can’t get enough. I also have had tried their full rack pork ribs….delicious. Everything is even better with the spicy bbq sauce. This is my #1 favorite bbq spot out of only 3 places and I will continue to support this black-owned business. Great food! Keep it coming and don’t change a thing. Thank you!

I read through the reviews for this place both good and bad and decided to try it anyway. I wanted it to be really good and it had the potential for it. The mac n cheese was very tasty and I liked the seasonings used in the greens. But the chicken wings were a different story. I could smell the chicken before I even took the knot out of the bag. I wondered if they had been fried in old grease. But when I opened my box, I opened it to what appeared to be wings that had been cooked before and dropped a second time when I placed my order. What’s frustrating is when you order BBQ or Soul Food, you’re really looking for a great experience. This was disappointing. And further frustrated by the fact that ordered through a delivery service which means there was a service fee and a tip included for the driver. I just think it’s unfortunate that restaurants tend to short change the people who order through delivery services but we’re paying the most money

I got the veggie plate! The greens were full of vinegar, the Mac n cheese sled from one side of the plate to the other, and my dressing would have been good if it wasn’t smoking hot! Can tell the side were premade and they warm up the food because my cornbread was still cold, and everything else was different temperatures!

The food was delicious and seasoned just right. My only complaint is the cakes. I paid 12 dollars for 2 slices of cake. When I placed my order I noticed there were slices of cake on the order window, I thought it was for display because it was left in the sun. I was shocked when they gave those cake slices to me saying that was all that was left. The cakes are nasty from be roasted in the sun. I had to throw them away. Nobody bothered to tell me that I was purchasing some hot mess cake ♀️

I haven’t ate here in over 2 years simply bc I’m hardly in the area anymore. I sure wish Uber would delivery to my home on the northside.. everything here that I’ve had was delicious. I love the Spicy sausage and sweet bbq sauce. Might have to take that trip bc it’s hard to find good bbq!!!

I visited CZ SMOKEZ BBQ yesterday and ordered a whole slab of the Beef Ribs with the two sides. One was Mac N Cheese and the other was the Candied Yams. The overall experience was good. Customer service was good as there was a new employee there taking orders. The customers that were in there were good people which made the time pass by faster through good conversation. The food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. To the food: The rib were good but a little on the tuff side. The candied yams were great as well as the mac n cheese. The Carolina sauce was great on the ribs. The ribs were just a little to tuff. Other than that, it was a good experience.
