I ordered online for pickup and the order was missing food. It’s frustrating, but whatever, just give me my money back, right? NOPE. They refused to give me a refund me for food I NEVER RECEIVED. Their food is too expensive, I got robbed, and they wont do anything about it.

My wife got very sick during the night from eating here. The service was terrible. Her first order was for a baked potato, the guy in back said it would be 15 minutes before potatoes were baked so she ordered something else. My order was wrong due to communication with person taking order. The staff looked very unpresentable. Not professional at all. Looked like they didn’t want to be there. When we were eating I kept asking my wife why the place wasn’t busy at 6 pm on a Friday night. Now I know why. We only ate here once when it opened wanted to try again. One of the worst places I have eaten at. Will not go back and will let everyone I know do not even think about going there. I am still up with my wife as she is getting sick.

McAlister’s Deli was so freaking good!! I’ve been back there three times in 2 weeks. it is awesome. It is the best food I’ve had in a long time, they have a very, very unique menu. They have some tried-and-true sandwiches but a lot of them have a new twist on the original. It really is great. I absolutely recommend this place if you ever get to Burlington.

Have been to other McAllister before, so knew what I was getting into when this opened a couple years ago. After the first few months of opening to work out the kinks (service, etc), this location has settled down to become a reliable place to go for good soups, sandwiches, and baked potatoes. It tends to be a bit pricy, but the quality of the food is apparent. Both the tea and lemonade are authentic and very good. We eat here occasionally if we are in the mood for a deli-type meal.
