I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tiger Fork in DC, and I can confidently say that it was an experience worth every penny. The highlight of my visit was the delectable Crispy Pork Belly Plate, which left me utterly satisfied and craving for more.

What an interesting take on Asian Cuisine. The fried rice was delicious, the pork buns with fish were really good, but the ramen noodles with beef was more like spaghetti with an Asian flare. Overall, this was a great experience and a lot of fun. If you are in the DC area and looking for something different. Give this place a shot. Enjoy!

An underwhelming experience for what it’s made to be. Tiger Fork is NOT the Michelin-guide restaurant serving what others describe as mouthwatering dishes. It’s a normal, heavily diluted and Americanized Cantonese joint. The interior design is fun and quirky. The host is kind and accommodating. However, the waiter was spread too thin across many tables. So, we didn’t get much attention and hospitality that’s worth the mandatory 20%. I don’t blame our waiter. It’s the management’s fault for not hiring additional staff. The pork belly, hyped by many reviewers, is dry and lacking flavor. The rolled noodles (Jah Leung) are covered in a delicious sauce but the crisps inside were stale and too hard to chew. We were planning to order other dishes but decided against it after a mediocre intro. I was expecting more from this place. Sorry for the poor quality pics, but I think it’s befitting of the overall experience – poor and lacking nuance.

Wowza! What a place The service was friendly and fast, the ambiance was a bit loud at times but overall fun and welcoming, and the food/drink was incredible. They serve large family-size portions for each dish, and each one was tasty and worth taking the leftovers home

Tiger Fork had been on our list for a while and we’re so glad we finally went! We shared the jah leung, fried rice, spare ribs, beef cheeks, and green beans. This was more than enough food for 3 people with lots to take home. The stand out dish we had was the green beans – I would go back again and again just for those. Everything else was also tasty, and the beef cheeks was unique and worth a try, just don’t miss the green beans. Cocktails were refreshing and inventive.

This is my 2nd try at tiger fork and both times left underwhelmed. After this time I won’t be back. When I arrived the host didn’t say one word to my group, I think maybe he grunted? It was weird. Our server was polite and tentative though. The best thing on the menu was the crispy fish bun, which I ate before I could take a picture.

Cocktails and Appetizers OK, main plate and vegetable not interesting. Flavors were not correlating . I didn’t like.

I’ve been here a couple times and the food and service is always spot on. I would recommend the crispy pork (not pictured), pork ribs, and combo fried rice. We also got the homemade soda and sake saison, which were really good. It can be challenging to secure a last minute reservation, but would recommend stopping by in case there are open spots at the bar or chef’s table.
