This is as good as it gets in Spooner!!! Amazing menus that change weekly!! Healthy choices!! The most tender steak I’ve had in the area!! The lamb was to die for!! The scallops were amazing!! Great atmosphere, and equally great service!! One of the most unique food experiences in Washburn county!! If your a “foodie” you can’t pass this up!!!

Most creative cooking in the area with the best results and prices! The breakfast and lunch fare is excellent and reasonably priced, but the dinner is what is really exceptional. Each weekend has a different menu with four or five entrees. They are usually around a theme, like morel mushrooms, Irish fare, root vegetables, etc. It’s always creative, savory, locally-sourced and delicious. If you want an expensive meal in a pretentious environment, this is the wrong place. If you want an equally delicious meal in a down-to-Earth setting, go here. The food is amazing, the staff is excellent, and the prices are phenomenal.

Delicious fresh food at a great price! The food has great flavor and my chicken was very juicy. The strawberry gin smash I had was awesome as well! Lots of gluten free options on their dinner menu for those that require it

A good place for breakfast in Spooner. The market potatoes were cooked perfectly and the coffee tasted good. I had a bite of someone’s pancake and it was well done. I would like to see more options on the menu that don’t have eggs.

We were looking for a place to have lunch on our way to Bayfield. We found this on Google Maps. My husband had a grass fed burger that was cooked perfectly, kids had the fajita wraps and I had home made cabbage soup and a salad. Food was delicious and very fresh, a nice break from the usual Wisconsin fried fare. Staff was very friendly. We’ll stop back on our way back home.

We were looking for a new place to eat and we Googled “breakfast Spooner WI” and this was the first place to come up, so we looked at the menu and our decision was made. We live about 25 miles from Spooner so we have been in the town many many times and never knew of this place and come to find out it has been around for FIFTEEN years….where have we been? The food was AWESOME! The coffee was great and when you get a glass of water, it is a glass of water, no little 6 ouncer! YES 🙂 This is a place I will recommend to anyone and everyone! The owner was super friendly as well! We will go back! Thanks for being in Sponner and so sorry it took us 15 years to find you! Keep up the great job!!!!!

Tastes like home cooking. Their weekend specials are creative and of course homemade. Banana bread french toast is my favorite breakfast. I eat there very often.

Best food in Spooner for dinner! Creative, well prepared, eclectic dishes. Salads at lunch are delicious; reminiscent of ‘Moosewood Cookbook’ fare. My only caution is the “greek” salad isn’t at all a Greek salad (not a lemon, sprig of oregano or calamata olive to be found) perhaps that will change when the tomatoes and cukes start rolling in from the farmers market. All in all a great little eclectic dive in the otherwise burger, brat and wild rice soup dominated menus found at other restaurants in the area.

Wonderful healthy food. It is so nice to have a refreshing alternative to all the fried food elsewhere. Gluten free options too. It was a win for the whole family.
